It's been 10+ yrs since the anime, and manga ended some time later..... After all these years, I can't believe Bleach is finally back. First episode was so epic. Animation, Ost, colors, va's, and etc. Everything was perfect. Ichigo flexing his bankai on mere hollows 😂. I can't wait for more 🔥

It has some of the best written moments in all of bleach, such as aizens speech about life and death, ichigos “the blade is me” sequence, Yhwachs religious symbolism throughout the whole arc. Yhwachs dynamic with aizen, and more. Just because you had a problem with the ending, it doesn’t take away from all the well written moments.
Uryu “ice skating” is something we already seen in the arrancar arc it’s called “hirenkyaku” which is the Quincy equivalent to a flashstep the thing is now it has a animation on his feet to visually display when he’s using it and when he’s not which wasn’t a thing in the old bleach which is a nice touch also it looks dope
Can’t wait for you two to meet some of the new characters of this arc Oh and at the very end, the poem, is from Volume 55 that started the Thousand Year Blood War. Every volume has a poem related to the character on the cover. It seems they’re incorporating that into the episodes😎
Man, let me tell you.. I've seen a lot people do Bleach reaction videos the past few months leading up to the TYBW arc, seemingly for the views. But watching you guys and the way you dove in and embraced the lore, the plot, the characters.. It's a whole different experience with you, You are authentic Bleach fans. As someone who's been Bleach squad from day 1, 2005.. I also gotta say when Mel took a moment to consider the emotions us old fans must have been feeling after waiting a decade. it meant a lot. After watching the first episode I started tearing up. The 10 year wait is over my whole childhood at the end. I never lost hope of seeing it come back
Bleach is one of my favorite manga/anime of all time and I'm glad its back and its looking amazing. This episode was a masterpiece from the animation to the voice acting to the music to the characters!
I think it’s awesome that Uryu has unique visuals on his high-speed movement, because they always said his Hirenkyaku was different from Flash Step and Sonido, but the anime just used to copy/paste effects for those moves. It’s the minor things like that that come together and make something special.
I'm glad you guys caught up just in time but can you imagine how hard this episode would've hit if you had to wait a few years. I feel like this episode did a good job of acknowledging the time gap, almost like a love letter to the fans can't wait to see more. keep it up guys!

Just like the Arrancar's theme had a hispanic vibe, the Quincy had German vibes. The Wandenreich are the Quincy army. And Ebern was speaking German I believe.
The art and animation is so clean, and the pacing is already off to a good start, fact that most of the trailers used scenes from the the first episode means there going to be so much more unseen stuff later on, sources have said that at the minimum the next 3 episodes are going to keep the same quality, hopefully it continues after that as well.
As someone who has read the manga and waited for this moment for over a decade, I am not only excited to see everything in animation, but I'm even more excited to see your reaction. This episode looked amazing, and I think all they wanted to pass on was done well. I could feel the haunting and dark tone coupled with the silence in some scenes was just crazy for me. The animation. The OST. What was so crazy was this scene that showed both the passing clouds and Yumichika in the same shot, the way the shadow kept shift relative to the light for the sky above him🤌🤌. This was just too good, awesome. Thank you for the reaction as always.
The animation looks amazing, and the story in the final arc is up there with the original Soul Society arc in terms of quality. And, as you may have noticed, the fights are going to be MUCH more graphic.

10 years we waited for that arc...You have no idea how excited the manga reader are !! Also it is well known that Tite Kubo at some point was rushed to come to an end to it...he announced that this arc will have part being made better so even for the manga reader there are gonna be some new things which is super exciting !! I remember watching Bleach as a kid man, it was the first anime ever. Now it is back with fully 3d renders, no cheap motion blur or scratches for shadow like in the first arc, new osts and no damn censorship. I legit paused on the first frame of the two new Shinigamis and was like "random shinigami I never met I already love you with all my heart" lmao

And if you guys don’t remember, Uryu’s grandfather was the one who proposed a common ground, where Quincies could be dispatched in case of emergency or first dispatch depending how long it takes for Soul Reapers to get to the scene. Sadly he was killed by Soul Reapers, and his body used for research purposes by Mayuri.
Bleach was the first anime I had ever seen when my older sister introduced it to me and when it ended I was 13 so yes it was 10 grueling years of wait.I'm not going to lie I did tear up and I really couldn't wrap my mind that it was out.

Sadly he was killed by Soul Reapers, and his body used for research purposes by Mayuri.

Bleach was the first anime I had ever seen when my older sister introduced it to me and when it ended I was 13 so yes it was 10 grueling years of wait.I'm not going to lie I did tear up and I really couldn't wrap my mind that it was out.
