One huge advantage you didn't mention is that MICAs can be fired successfully without the "red" solid lock, as soon as hmd locks, your nose doesn't have to point anywhere near your target. In practice that means you can fire at targets while cranking or even in a full notch. You can murder entire teams by giving them the side eye. No other aircraft can be offensive while being fully defensive, massive advantage
Yeah, thats the thrust vectoring. They're fkn assassins at medium or short ranges. 👍 When the Rafale comes in and starts dunking, I expect people to start complaining pretty hard.
I don't think it would be as good, with no IRCCM missiles and only a maximum of 4 ARH ones, but still would be a very solid addition tbh, it could fit somewhere between the F-16A and the Mirage
@@jfv2312 IIRC the Ching Kuo should have access to at least the AIM-9L and the indigenous TC-1 which it carries two per wing with two centreline TC-2 ARH missiles but I could be wrong. I'm more interested in the aircraft since it would be one of the few truly 'unique' aircraft, which no other nation would have access to, which is hard to find in the higher ranks.
@@SemiLobster no you're right, for the first generation, not upgraded F-CK-1 that would be the correct loadout. The thing is, neither the AIM-9L or the TC-1 have any type of IRCCM, so I don't think it would be that competitive in game beyond BR 13.0 or so. That said, of course it's really unique and it would be an amazing addition for the tech tree, but knowing Gaijin they'll probably go for new J-10 and J-11 variants first 😔
The chances of me ever pronouncing anything correctly in French, even when I know how are like ... maybe 5%, tops, on a good day 😅 I love the language, just don't have any aptitude for it.

Ah yes, that weird Mirage 2000 that is downgraded due to Chinese pressure. Taiwan can't get enough spare parts of it and might be replaced by F-16 Block 70/72.

Micas will be even more cracked next patch. They somewhat fixed the stability issue on the dev server for the r73 and mica.
*Allegedly. Saw someone claiming that missiles worked better on previous DEV too, plus R-73 is known for both spinning out and pulling insane tracks
