That’s cool Frank. I didn’t have to spatchcock the chicken to make it fit. I just like cooking mine like that. But now you’re making want a rotisserie chicken lol!
that's super... your rotisserie cooker doesn't also do things like make anything from toast to NY strip while also reducing counter clutter in the kitchen.
Ya know know what I was telling you yesterday about we women as well as da guys that comes over, are HEAVY HITTERS when WE EAT??? Here's this wknds solution. Ima buy whole chickens & use his marinating technique, BUT put em on da grill. WATCH, these women gonna eat a whooooole 1/2 a chicken. Ima take pics for you.🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@rstumbaugh43 Look, like you're my waiter.... 2 cups of coffee, w/sugar, & a splash of cream please. I tip good. ANNNNNJYTHING for good muddy water/coffee.
This chicken was absolutely delicious! I’m loving the new DREO ChefMaker! I definitely need to buy you some kitchen shears so you can spatchcock easier 😊 Great job Mr. Cast Iron!
@@cynthiawesley2318 yea that was such a great marinate! Delicious! This could be done in a Cast Iron Dutch Oven too. We were just testing the new DREO and we loved it 😍
@@mrs.castiron Good for you, AWESOME!!! Ima do that marinate on my bird for Memorial Day. That looks too good & it stayed on da chicken. I know a good marinate when I see 1 I just NEVER can find a good 1. This spot on tho.😋😋😋
I really enjoy watching you and Mrs. Cast Iron's organic and relatable content. PLEASE keep it cast iron related and leave the air fryers, flashlights, hand tools and non cast iron content to QVC and HSN. Respect 🙏
Although we certainly appreciate and value your opinion, unfortunately, we can’t just make videos for one person. We have several people that have air fryers, love air fryers, and have asked us to make air fryer videos. I know this may not go well with everyone, but we try to do the best that we can. We try to accommodate a little bit of everyone on this channel. I’m sorry that this doesn’t set well with everyone but we try to do the best that we can. Thank you again and have a great day.
Impossible to please all the people all of the time. Look at me! Three months ago, I asked the maximum weight of chicken for this machine. I still don't know. 😢. I still have to sort out distilled water. Then I'll ask Father God. No one else is going to tell me. I am on a budget, as many are. I want to cook the largest size possible. Then, have one meal from it. Let it cool. Then portion the rest of it so I can get more meals from it. Wrap well individually and place in the freezer. I would think 6 portions from the full chicken. Cost £4.99 for around 2kg. An organic chicken about 1.3kg also £4.99. Would like Dreo to take a 2kg. Also if guests, one needs to cook the largest the Dreo will comfortably accommodate. Thank you for your time. God Bless you all and your country. Good night. 😊🌹
Spatchcocking is a terrible way to cook chicken. Breast is done at 60~65C whereas the darker meat is done at 85~90C. A vast difference. The Chefmaker will take the chicken to 74C min so the light meat will always be way over. You cannot change the final temperature in Chef mode so it will always over cook chicken breast. Oh & seasoning should go under the skin otherwise the skin prevents it reaching the meat.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us on this. We didn't have any problems because it was spatchcocked. I do my chicken and turkey like this all the time and they turn out great!!

Thanks Lee!! This bird was so juicy and tasty! You should have heard Momma T lol 😂 😂

Why are you cutting the chicken like that
Because the chicken lays flatter and cooks faster and more evenly when they are spatchcocked.
Spatchcocking is a terrible way to cook chicken. Breast is done at 60~65C whereas the darker meat is done at 85~90C. A vast difference.
