- It's Race Day! Welcome to the first ever King Of The Road Race. Not to be confused with our King Of The Hill races, this track uses the Super 6 lane Raceway then onto one wide lane down to the finish. 72 cars in this event, which car will be the first King Of The Road? Let's see who takes it!
Unexpected Result?.
Really disappointed my car didn't win though I think he was ahead a little bit with the front piece
I'm shocked, figured somebody would have picked the F1. Truly a wild track, you don't know what's going to happen. Do some rubbers on this, bet that'll be interesting.

These are more entertaining then having them in their own individual lanes
Yes and no. When I race without lanes I prefer the Sizzlers straight track. I'm NOT dissing this set up at all, I love the look of the "road". The slippery aspect makes the cars fly everywhere. It's still a epic run, but for me I really like as I said the Sizzlers Raceway. Now adding the high-banked turn as well back into another straightaway, that's my favorite track.👌

2D / 3D Botmaker combines lanes and open track, which seems a good option to me.
It was great seeing you guys again. Pretty exciting stuff! Don't know what they are gonna do on that surface! Even the fastest car can spin out and lose! Nice!

Love the set up one suggestion, make area after track ends less slippery so cars move more realistically.
Crazy how no one picked the winning car, but it was a great race as always and look forward to the next one.

Been bingeing your videos for a week now, new to the channel. This is a lot of good clean wholesome fun. I have a 2 year old son who says Cars about a hundred times a day. We went to a birthday party and the kid had a ton of hot wheels so I picked up a little track and we are having a blast playing and we watch your videos together at bedtime.
Great racing guys. Thanks for all the fun. Wish there was a way to get the truly fastest car/truck in each heat.. before they get all jumbled up and push each other across the finish line. But great fun no matter what.
Its good how you tried to have it as even as possible with mixing the hot wheels with the match box for the races. Great collection

I've been a fan of the working rig series for a while. I always was curious how they'd do on the 6-lane Raceway? Seeing the big rigs vs. the cars was fun! Great work.

I love the Mclaren F1 taking it, it's one of my favorite castings, but you can't hardly beat the wheels on the Repu, they are so nice and look good on everything. Awesome races.

I for one enjoyed watching this race. This was fun to relive my younger days when hot wheels made thier entrance back in the 60s. I wish my parents hadn't sold my hot wheels in the garage sale....

the open road is the great evener!...totally unpredictable...next time try a FUNNY CAR to see how it does....it wouldn't have the obvious edge as it does with the lanes...great idea!
My money was on the green Landscaping truck, it's heavier than the other vehicles, I believed gravity would work in its favour. The first race was all Matchbox products, so it must have been the ergonomics of the different wheels on the truck which was a factor. Sweet set-up, a 'man-cave' we all dreamed of as kids.
Really liked thisformat. Super fun.
Very interesting King of The Road races. I really love the cars and the track. I choose Ford Mustang Mach E 1400 and this car is almost won the race.

I say, race all of them twice. Make sure their energy didn't criss-cross, when they ran into each other, while going down the ramp . Better yet, just race 2 at a time..for better results ....😊👍

Well I picked the F1 GTR but I'm still glad the standard F1 took it
A race surface with a bit more traction would be interesting to see. Even if you try tacky rubber matting or something similar, the plastic wheels of the car are still quite smooth. This would still allow for enough slide so that cars can still negotiate collisions with the wall and other cars, while also maintaining a more forward path with less spinning due to the increased traction.

What did you guys use to cover the lanes on the raceway? I have one myself and cars with shorter wheel bases always struggle because of the rough texture in the center of the lanes.

Glad the Subaru won it's first heat! Poor Tail Dragger was just to heavy off the line, sigh...I'm out. Hey we beat a Porsche though and got 5th at least haha.
