Every time I think about trying Fallout 76 I remember we have Fallout 4 at home.
I'm looking forward to the Fallout 4 update at the end of the month. Have you ever played New Vegas?
@BBKDRAGOON Yes I love New Vegas, although I had to mod it on PC to prevent it from crashing all the time. I recommend trying survival mode for your Fallout 4 playthrough if you haven't already. I can't go back to normal mode after playing survival. It makes the gameplay loop so much more satisfying.
@@BBKDRAGOONNew Vegas is phenomenal its a game that seers itself to your gaming memories like an old friend
yeah but Fallout 4 is hot steaming pile of shit and by far the worst in the series
@@OnlyInhuman90 It really isn't. The story sucks sure, but the gameplay is the best in the franchise imo.
Imagine if they actually handled the Halo franchise with the respect it deserved. Could have made the TV show a huge succes if it actually respected the source material
Yeah, I hope the producers and writing team for the Halo show watch and learn from this. It was clear the Fallout show team respected the source material, understood the world, and delivered a show that plays to both fans and new viewers. I'm getting pretty tired of seeing what's happened to Halo the last decade
Yeah for real though I was so disappointed with the halo series I to go watch the game cut scenes I was also skeptical about fallout because of this but they really did a good job made me want to play some fallout again too
They could have learnt from the Last of us show but they didn't.. it's an issue with the team on Halo.
I love halo and really enjoyed the show. Could have been better but wasn't terrible in any means

Level 300+ here. And there are countless new players that come to my base and look around which I love. I had a guy come ask for 100 rounds of 10mm and he walked away with 5000 rounds lol. If there was any tips I could give it would be get the excavator power armour as fast as you can. That extra weight you can hold comes in handy all the time. You don’t need to wear it all the time but definitely keep it in your inventory just in case. Make sure you check all player vendors. Some people sell really good guns for cheap while others sell for crazy prices. You’ll quickly find the average prices on stuff. Bloodied build is definitely one of the best builds out there. Any questions let me know!
As a new player, thanx for the tips!!
I’m wondering how i should manage my inventory. Like how to prevent being at max weight. What to loot and what not to loot.
Thanks for the tips! Where would I get that power armour though?
I started a new character, there’s so much content to this game so I wanted to try fresh again with what I knew, a level 300 player dropped me a full set of excavator power armor fully decked out and sets my carry weight to 450 this community is insane. No mic nothing random drop in a daily op. Bless that guy
I have 1111 hours 🥴
I love seeing a new player on my map. I load them down with a ridiculous amount of ammo and chems and cosmetics. if they will follow me, I'll craft them the best weapon and armor they can use for the next few levels.
Please tell me you play on PlayStation
You on xbox ?
it happens a lot, oddly enough the community is pretty welcoming
destroys the experience. fallout is boring as shit once you have everything, why rush them to that boring end?
I'm level 15 and not a soul has helped me 😂
anyone have that sudden urge to play Fallout games after watching the show?
everybody has, that's the only reason for all the content on youtube and the internet recently
Im biting my fingers till the next gen update drops
I hate to admit this but I have never finished a fallout because I’ll play none stop for a month then for no reason I get distracted and drop it
Went out and bought new copies of Fallout 3 and New Vegas for my PS3. Sorry, I'm not a PC player, nor do I have any Xbox system. The games run alright and look decent enough for their age. Just waiting for that Fallout 4 PS5 update.
Yea just stick to playing fallout 4 because 76 is trash, it's soo boring and there is nothing to do, no story mode no npc quests, the only thing good about the game is the building feature and even that is a scam. Because to access most of the build parts and to play solo in a private world you need to pay $100 a year for the fallout 1st membership subscription... they have ruined fallout... fallout 4 is 200X better

F76 never was fixed, the optimization is still garbage and you still have to edit the ini files to disable basic things like V-Snyc and to make it possible to run it good on high end hardware and a monitor with a refresh rate more than 60 hz. The game is still filled with a heavy amount of bugs and the controls on pc are laughably bad ( especially on the menu / ui navigation side ).
No mans sky worked really hard to achieve that kind of a comeback and they never included any paid dlcs/ mtx or monthly subscriptions. F76 did the bare minimum and just added content to the game over the year without adressing or fixing fundamental problems since release.

Because of the multiplayer incentive. Cashing in money through subscriptions. It's why the most popular and most earning Bethesda game is TES online.
Since No Man’s Sky, this may lead to more companies being persistent with the improvements to their games
@@ixinor you do know TES Online is not made by Bethestha
The soundtrack of 76 has some pretty good ones, like the one that plays for the "Most Wanted event" and "Scorched earth" being my favorites.
Environments themselves are really vibrant and unique.
The forest region is usually a safe place to set down camps, the enemy's out in the woods are usually not that dangerous except for a few locations.
The savage Davide is a mixed bag, it has a mix of Barren and forested areas but the threats are more present then the Forest, but carries areas that are good looting for resources.
The Mire is a Dark, disease infested swamp, yet also a beautiful area, the great lighting from the canopy of the trees covering all of the mire, contrast with the dark muddy swamps below. It also feels a bit unnerving by the dangerous monsters lurking about in those waters, along with how the pre-war structures that were "Devoured" by the Mire.
Ash heap is filled with mining structures for looting and Load bearing Events that happen in the area can Net you good resources, yet the Region itself devoid of most plant life, and the resources like water in these areas are dangerous to even drink. Being in this area without a face mask will damage you overtime and can cause you to catch diseases. While the monsters usually are the people who take up residence in those areas with the occasional mutated animal.
The Cranberry Bog is a Dangerous place to be, despite its bright pink flora and useful Cranberries for XP recipes , It is a haven for many mutated beast alike, including some of the most powerful monsters you can fight in the game. Its environment really makes you feel like your always Exposed in the wide open while also feeling like your in constant danger, so you must be careful and make sure you have the ammo and material to survive in the Bog.
It has the Fallout charm all the other games have, but mixes it up in a fun and unique way that makes it so loved by the player base.
I'm level 1100 been playing since the beta. I'm so happy to see so many people giving the game a chance. Bethesda never stopped working hard on improving it and it truly shows. A tip I would have for newcomers is to join a team. Each type of team provides a bonus that multiples with each member. For example the casual team gives you an xp boost. So if you have a max team of 4 the boost is quadrupled.
Fallout 76 is available for FREE on prime gaming as well for both Xbox and PC.

The game is inclusively free, however you can also get the thing that makes it inclusively free, for free. I'm around lvl 970 now and often in groups where I'm the low level member. For me it's just a fun way to relax after work and sometimes I play with my son as well. The community is great with very few trolls/griefers etc. Even once the quests are done there's still the general mayhem of events or just grinding for new gear or base building. I loved the previous Fallout games so was worried when I tried 76. Had I tried when it was first released I would have walked away but now I think it's got a good foundation and hope the content keeps coming.

I reinstalled fallout 4 and installed a full modlist called "Welcom to Paradise". It's a vanila friendly modlist with about 260 mods. I am really excited to dive more into it. I never actually finished the main story so I still have something to look forward to in regards to the story.
I just did the same except for the 750 mod list A Story wealth. And OMG it's literally a fallout 4.5.

As a fan of the fallout series, I enjoyed Vegas the most but wish it had a revamp, and now I really like fallout 76 now it was rough but now I a tally really enjoy coming back it
Hey ive never played fallout or this game but I am curious how the endgame looks in this? Is it just storymode mostly or are there boss fights/raids to do like destiny?
The main questline finishes you off around level 50, I'm currently level 266 and still finding things to do within the world that's keeping me busy. You have loads and loads of backlog worth of content from updates, as well as new updates happening all the time, you have raids a.k.a events happening throughout the servers constantly 24/7, and limited time events that come up every now and then, too. Not to mention faction side quests as well to learn more about the sides at war with one another.
I suggest you start with Fallout 3 and then New Vegas and then Fallout 4. You could also try Fallout 1 and 2, but those are old classic games which are still great in its own.
Fallout 76 is just sad.
@@ixinor I wouldn't discourage a newcomer from playing 76. It's the most beginner friendly and has a great community around it. Six years worth of post-release content too
@ixinor Im actually a fan of the mmo style games like elder scrolls online and other games that have a similar style.
@@kanjokiroo It doesn't do the fallout universe justice, nor its grimy, humorous and unsettling story. Most people love Fallout not just because of its gameplay, but also its lore. Just look at New Vegas.
Especially with the TV show it shows people love the feeling, the world etc. So newcomers would enjoy Fallout 3 and 4 more just like the TV director said and the actors. 76 doesn't have it, except for prop placements and a bit of easter egging for extended lore (moth cult) etc
I bought this game at peak hatred for $4 free shipping and since then I’ve collected used copies from gamestops for like $6-$11. Never played the game before lol
I'm only level 55 and I gotta say I think I like this game more than Fallout 4. I can't put it down. It's 5 am and I just turned if off and now I'm watching videos about it in bed.
Currently watching the show, but it was actually the Magic the Gathering set that inspired me to pick it up. I played New Vegas a long time ago so I picked up the Caesar deck, but I really liked The Wise Mothman deck so I picked up 76 to find the Mothmen
Good to see the game getting the love it deserves. Been playing since launch, going through the low lows and now the high highs it’s simply amazing. Welcome all new players!!
Fallout 76 is the only Fallout game I haven't completed. Got a couple weeks of PTO coming up and 100% back in the Fallout mood like everyone else after the TV show, guess I'll jump back into it!
Nice aim bru. and great vid too , thanks. looking forward to diving in tmw with a friend.
Great Video I love Fallout 76 started last year and still haven't finished the main quest because there is soo much stuff to do and so many quests also the lore is great so much to discover that's why the game has a big community ultimately
Anyone know how to get rid of the controller accel on PC? also if you have twitch prime its free on xbox and PC.
I actually really enjoyed the first month or so after launch, everybody playing for the first time, claiming the bases and building camps with my friends. Sharing the locations of where we got plans, doing the quests, where to find power armor etc. I want to get into it again but I jumped on my high level character and have no idea where to start. Thinking about just starting again but it was a lot of work back then getting so far.

Started playing again recently, I’ve ran into texture issues when exploring outside areas. Things such as rock textures and my clothe’s textures won’t fully load in, same with decals. All in all it’s been fun except that.
That's been an issue since launch but since not enough people complain about it, it probably won't get fixed...

How is the weight carry system now? I remember, that as a gatherer and messy, it was extremely disappointing, how much good stuff you had to leave behind, cause you were overweight. Then you had these cards that could help, but they were only a drip into a barrel.
I believe they updated it so most items weights dropped dramatically, so you can carry more.

hell yeah! i jumped back into 76 at the tail end of last year on a random whim and was absolutely floored by the community and the scope of what was in game. played for like 10 hours at launch, didn't touch it for 5 years, then put like 300 hours into it out of nowhere. 76 has the kindest/friendliest gaming community i've encountered bar none.

Honestly thank you so much for this video! I was so excited for 76 on release & it lined up with my birthday, so the wife bought me the Tricentenary Edition & I was absolutely beside myself when after 22hrs of gameplay I was able to get past the 2nd quest I'd picked up, entirely because of the forced PVP. First I’d like to say I love this game. That being said I had an issue when trying to play it through STEAM. For whatever reason It would always default me to windows mode and a very small windows mode at that. I tried fixing it in game through the settings but when I would hit apply nothing would change. I even went inside the game files and manually tried to prevent it from opening up in that small windows mode but that also didn’t work. However, when I tried opening the game and playing it through game pass PC the game ran and opened up flawlessly. Long story short if you’re having this issue after buying it refund it( there should be a 2 hr refund window) and either buy it through Microsoft store or get game pass and play it through that.
It’s so much better now been playing for like the last month straight
I’m so glad it’s getting the attention it deserves I remember thinking it always got a bad wrap because of its start but it’s a totally different game at this point.
I like 76 but I never have ammo. I could have like 200 bullets and they’ll all be gone after one fight, how do you guys get and keep a lot of ammo I’m trying to get back into fallout 76 but I can’t bc I’ll just die after one fight please help me.
The ammo you're using drops from enemies so that helps. Honestly, ask a high level, we're usually swimming in most ammo types since we get a ton from daily ops
I'm using the starter shotgun and have like 2000 bullets. Each kill is like two bullets and each enemy drops like 10. So much ammo.
I’ve been playing the game since launch and I’m still playing it I struggled through it and yes, it’s still good. It holds up very well especially when you sunk over 2500+ hours into it like me?
I am a die hard F3, New Vegas and F4 fan and have put an ungodly amount of hours into them. I was quite ignorant with 76 when it was released and just dismissed it without playing but for the last day or so I've enjoyed it quite abit, I also really like the map being in colour.
Skyline Valley update coming in June, opening up a new area of the map. It's probably the biggest update since Wastelanders.
I was on and off for this game for years. I remember seeing Nuclear Winter. I always liked the game it just never intrigued me enough to stay with it. My internet is horrid so I think that has a lot to do with my experience. I have a character at level 40 but would have had a higher level character but I on and offed the game so much I didn't remember where I was or my character stats so I had to restart everytime I came back 😂

6:00 I hope they will allow player to go beyond 60fps, but my hopes are low since havok destroys itself at 60+fps
Yeah, there are some really weird things on uncapped lol, I had to put a max frame lock on the nvidia settings to get it to play without a bunch of odd breaks
@BBKDRAGOON Back in the days of Fallout 3, New Vegas, 4, they used Havok to deal with the physics, that version of Havok was built to be played with a 60fps cap bc the physics engine itself used hardcoded values for everything that was under 60fps (at least that is what I think). What I know for certain is that if you unlock the cap you need to mod the game to set the values yourself or the game would crash or accelerare the physics with the fps. Basically at 120fps the game would run double the speed
This was great, you did a great job.
Was playing got to level 31, then got a disconnected from server glitch and haven’t been able to play all day
It’s been years since I’ve played and remember the Npcs but might play again looks so fun 😢
