    A lot of people recommending to people to NOT buy this phone. This phone isn't for YOU. Regardless of its outdated design it's still a really solid phone. Also knocking on the screen size...some people just want a smaller phone. We don't want to be holding tablets.

      Amen brother. The iPhone SE 3 is thin and light, has a full square screen (with no notch) and fits in your pocket. That’s why brought it. I can’t stand newer iPhones because of how ridiculous big they are. There’s a market for everyone.

    Some of the supposed ''issues'' with this phone are dubious. You talk about the OLED screen being better than LCD. On my 75 inch TV at home, i agree. But on my little 5 inch iphone? Paying extra money for OLED on a tiny phone is insane. For most users, camera technology is more than enough on the SE. Almost no one will see a photo from an SE, and wonder if it was taken on a lesser phone. The only real thing i can see as a concern might be the battery life. But for what you save in both size and weight, plus that extra 170 dollars that you act like is nothing, might make the SE a great choice.

    • @50Steaks68
      @50Steaks68 Месяц назад +1

      The real argument isn’t the iPhone 13. It’s the iPhone 11. For less money (currently going for around $200) you get better cameras, display, and battery life. Yeah sure you’ll be missing 2 years of software updates compared to the SE 3 but it’s a good trade off at the moment

    I purchased the SE 3rd gen in March 2022 when it first came out. My iPhone 7+ was super slow, and I didn’t have the money for anything more expensive than the SE 3rd gen. I honestly really like it. The photo quality is better than the 7+’s, even if it isn’t as good as some of the more premium iPhones. To this date it’s still way faster than my 7+. The smaller screen size definitely took some getting used to, and while typing my fingers would often hit the wrong keys. Definitely a solid option for those on a budget but still want a functioning iPhone. The only downside is that although it supports Bluetooth 5, 5G, eSIM, nano-SIM, and Wi-Fi 6, it doesn’t support the Bluetooth Low Energy that AirTags use for precision tracking (which the 13 mini does). You can still set up and use AirTags, and all the features work EXCEPT for one, which is the feature where the phone points to where it is with an arrow, and gives an estimate of how far away it is. When looking for one I usually just press the “play sound” button, which makes it beep. However, if you are in Korea where many of the AirTag features already don’t work, having another one that doesn’t work may be annoying.

    I just bought this phone for my mum. She had an iPhone 8 and it’s 62. She is very comfortable with Touch ID and a home button. That is worth more to me than all the new tech in the newer models

    Personally, I'd still get the SE. I have small hands. I like Touch ID better than Face ID. I like that LCD not only can contribute to better battery life compared to OLED, but also the fact that LCD will not cause image burns like OLED does. If I want a better camera, then I'll get a camera. And for a budget phone that has a flagship processor, and will continue to get iOS upgrades, fine by me. Also, same Apple software experience as the flagship. And the other thing regarding battery life -- turn off 5G if your plan does not have it. But if you decide to upgrade to a 5G plan, then you'd be ready by then, and not have to buy another phone.

    I love my IPhone SE 3rd gen over my work phone which is a Samsung galaxy S23 5g , the iPhone is smaller and easier to put in my pocket and less chance of getting dropped and broken, the Cameras take great pictures for being a single wide angle camera , the front selfie camera takes good enough pics for me, Battery life has been great because I don’t use my phone a lot only for texting and phone calls and for $150 I’m not going to complain.

    I just ordered a brand new one of these from Amazon in the uk they started at £429 and £479 for the 128gb on apple uk… I got the 128gb for £429 from Amazon because I’m a builder and I’m sick and tired of having a phone in my pocket that is so big I cannot kneel down with it in my pocket so when Im laying floors I have to put it to one side, then I go out to my van and the phone rings and I miss the call and if it’s another job I loose out on that job, so I got one of these now I can work with it in my pocket….as for battery life I just use a battery case it does make it a bit thicker but triples the battery life…..not every one wants a phone that’s the size of a brick

    I have a SE second generation, and I'd like the form factor. I love the button. I don't like the way the OS works in the 13, 14, and 15. I don't like the facial recognition. I love the thumb button.
    So I've been thinking of upgrading my SE2 to SE3. It's been four years I think so it's probably time.
    I can get it with 256G of storage, and with the new processor, it seems like it gives me everything I want.
    I'll post back here later after I get it

    SE fan here. The shape and design of this phone causes it to slide off of most surfaces. If you don’t like using a phone casing you will suffer because of that. If it weren’t for that I would be looking forward to four or five years with this phone.

    I'm an apple fanboy and every YEAR I only wanted the "top iPhone of the year" But then I realized, as a common person, a student actually, how little I use "pro" feature, I don''t need a 4K PRO RES GIGA MAX ULTRA WIDE CAMERA to film my friends being stupid, I don't need a 47 megapixel front camera, because I'm not going to take photos for a portfolio, but for instagram and memories. And plus, my iPhone 13 Pro is really heavy, is big and I can't use it with just one hand, And I payed a LOT for it. I'm watching this video because I don't need a pro phone and I have to convince myself that the best tech spec phone would maybe not be the best for me, as we always want to buy the best we can. SO when you say "for 170$ more you can buy a 13", you are not getting the point of the SE :)
    PS: I would chose SE even just for Touch ID.

    The people shopping for an iPhone SE, very likely don't have an extra $170 available. Yes, of course, if they spend more they'll get more, but the SE is for people that either can't spend more or intentionally don't want to.
