Quads don't guarantee a win, Sasha hasn't won a single major competition in her entire career, her biggest issue was artistry and she has been criticized for it, but never fixed it. Anna also has quad jumps, she has never finished below a silver in her enire senior career as well. Another example is Aliona K. who despite not having a quad, but just a 3A has beaten both Sasha and Anna because of her beautiful skating. As for the Olympics. In the short program: Anna was at 1st place with 80.20 points. Sasha was ar 3rd place with 74. 60 - she fell on her 3A. The free program. Sasha was at 1st place with 177.13 Anna was in 2nd place wirh 175. 75 Sasha won the free, but she also wasn't skating cleanly - bad ladings, step outs., so she didn't get the maximum points she would have hoped to get. Anna on the other hand, skated cleanly and also jumped quads.
Anna says she have quads, but even triples are like 2.5 rotations, her quads are a joke and her 4.65 GOE it's one of the biggest joke in ice skating and olympic games @@yesuten7934

Sasha was mainly angry at Eteri on why she was not allowed in the team tournament, she would have had gold easily. Eteri's big mistake here as she and the team knew of Kamila situation, and yet she pushed Kamila on to compete leaving 2 available ladies ready on the side in the teams tournament. other than also the lack social skill on the team management and Eteri herself, this meltdown of Sasha which was a normal teenager thing, should not have gotten out in public. Anna is the real boss and sublime rightfully on merit in the midst of this whole debacle. They both performed the best they could and they're Olympic champions on top of the best of the world, Gold and Silver.

Now, if Sasha had gone for 2 x 2As instead in the SP - which she could easily land , she would have got the 🥇. Just do the ( quite simple) arithmetic …I would have had that terrible 😂 as well if I had lost the 🥇like Sasha did , but the Olympics are brutal : you have to be utterly calculating and focused, have a very dispassionate , focused and calibrated game plan - and then go for broke ! 🎉

Полностью согласна, Саша сотворила историю на тех Играх. И этот нервный срыв вполне понятен, тем более, что Саша пыталась от камер уйти, но ее продолжали снимать. Для спортсмена поражение это трагедия, тут и взрослые мужики не могут с нервами справиться, тем более на Играх. Для меня Саша - лучшая, при этом ничуть не умаляю заслуг ее соперницы, чемпионки ОИ. She did not do 5 quads, she only did 2, others were not rotated and not landed properly. Anna did 2 quads and one C-level cascade, lutz+loop. The choreography of Anna is obviously better than anyone else. Anna Shcherbakova is the true Olympic Gold medalist.

Абсолютно грязные программы. Из пяти четверных только 2 сделаны чисто, падение в короткой программе и много других ошибок - это не лучшая.
