It’s quite interesting to me that a couple of girls have referred to other women as “tramps” when their own community of women wear extremely tight in ittybitty clothes with extremely high heels. So how are you going to call people tramps because they are wearing shorts dresses when you have 10 year olds wearing shorts with their butt cheeks hanging out? I mean, I really don’t care what people wear. If you choose to wear itty-bitty dresses or shorts with your butt cheeks hanging out or your boobs hanging out that’s your prerogative. That’s your choice. Because I also like to wear things that are revealing sometimes. But I don’t think it’s fair to call people tramps just because they are not in your community even though they are wearing the same thing that people in your community would wear, or maybe even more covered up than people in your community would wear. It’s quite hypocritical. So the girls in this video were saying women were either way under dressed, or Wayover dressed. There was no in between. There were no compliments for anybody everybody there was either underdressed or overdressed. Yet I didn’t see a video clip of anybody saying that they looked like they absolutely didn’t belong there. I didn’t see anybody saying that they looked weird in that environment. Because honestly, those clothing choices did not belong in that environment, but nobody was as rude as those girls were. I hope nowadays they have matured and would not be calling people tramps and acting like they are so much better than everybody else. And then also talking about the people that have drank a little bit too much. I’m sure every single one of them at this point have drank too much multiple times. But I highly doubt they would take responsibility for her being drunk or wearing clothes that others would seem inappropriate. But yet they wanna judge everybody else. I really hope since it’s been over 10 years. These girls have all grown up and are not as judgmental as they are in this video. It would be sad if they haven’t.
I totally agree with you, and the way most of them girls dance... they were barely nothing to church. How can they judge? But at the same time we can't judge either
How come that girl is focusing so much hat3 towards none traveller girls....? She seems a little mad....and no point coming somewhere and putting down other people to the place they've came to..... Not gonna lie though, real shame those girls didn't make it in time to the best dressed competition because they really slayed !
The way they dress for a wedding showing that much skin like they are going to the beach, is totally tacky and classless. And the way the mothers dress the little girls, sexualizing them, is beyond understanding. Is like they are grooming the little ones to be street walkers when they grow up, giving the daughters the 'education' that their worth is on just showing the body. Really sad that their goal in life is to marry that young.
@@GenXParanormal Being almost naked have nothing to do with cultura but more like "showing the goods" in a sexualized way. Is like a cattle show. Their worth is being a female and not a woman. There, I said that it.
@spliffendz8970 Not to mention being baptised, Church every Sunday, spotless houses... shorts under short skirts, nothing is really hanging out, chaperoned dates even when engaged and as you said, very high morals.
This is the most disgusting saddest thing how they exploit these children at such a young age, and how the men can just grab these girls whoever they want it’s just disgusting. It was very heart wrenching to watch, and that poor bride I would sue the dressmaker and make sure that dress was free. Very sad culture. Absolutely no class or respect for women. Smh
I agree with you! I don't see how their customs can survive in this modern time. Marriage at 15, 16 isn't even legal in most states. However, on the plus side these girls are actually a little prudish. There are very few out of wedlock pregnancies. Part of their culture demands they remain virgins. They all have big loving families. It's sad yes. Especially the lack of education. But it is what it is.
They LOVE their culture. It is odd to us “today” but consider humans have been doing it this kind of way for millennia. It’s no life for most gypsy women.
If you are walking around with your hand on the front of your hem to stop people seeing your ‘hoo-haa’ it’s a pretty good indication that your skirt is too short.
Favourite animals my foot! You should see the poor abandoned wrecks of horses and dogs that travellers dump when they are no use to them anymore. The horses they force to gallop on tarmac roads get injuries that go untreated, they don't look after their dogs properly, and I 've seen dogs and horses beaten, kicked, whipped and underfed. The RSPCA have had to care for the poor animals after they've been "loved" by travellers.
my brother lived on a site with them, they buy puppies for kids for christmas then chuck em out, he has one dog he saved ,was bald ,badly sunburned and had the most swollen belly with parasites id ever seen. Another one used to be out in the freezing cold fur full of ice, terrible how they treat animals.
@Anastasia Beaverhausen Absolutely agree. I have rescued dogs dumped by travellers, and the makers of this very TV series showed a scene when one of the boys snatched a girl's dog from her, and hurled it into a lake. The girl protested a bit, but clearly thought the boy a fine brave "man" for such an "heroic" act. I fail to understand why apparently decent people want to defend and affirm this sort of behaviour.
It’s sad. Obviously it’s not all of them but yeah I’ve seen one group that had kittens everywhere when they left. They were anyone from just born to adult cats just having babies with all the same families. A bunch of inbred cats everywhere because they don’t leave. They know there was food there when the people were there so they just stay around.
I thought those were two diamante-encrusted life preservers. My bad. I'm rather surprised that Biddy's group had such a poor time of it - perhaps they were in a bad mood from missing so much of their day getting ready. Other travelers dressed up and partied and had the best time, ever. As to the wedding, I felt so bad for Biddy. For her, the day seemed more like a salmon swimming against the stream. Why would a dressmaker create a 140# dress? Poor girl.
@Stella Rae Honestly? Many of them have divorced due to abuse from their partners. I feel so sorry for the women of this community... No freedom, have to be told what to do, do all the chores, take care of all the children, sexualised at a young age by family, friends and strangers, sexual assault (although they call it 'grabbing' which I'm sorry but it's still assault from a moral standpoint) and if they even dare to; continue school, divorce, date or marry later in life rather than as youngsters: they are belittled for it. I can't imagine the sheer amount of mental breakdowns most of these poor girls go through, and poor mental health.
I was so happy to see her opening her own salon, remember seeing her working at the bakery. There is much more to life than just marriage and cleaning and I'm so happy that she's exploring that and is aspiring to do more!!
She has respect, honor, dignity, strength, courage, value and honesty. Most of all she going forward with her life without restrictions that she has escaped and living her dreams goals reaching it.
What's the point of making the dress so big? She can hardly walk in it, clearly in pain and looks miserable. Someone make me understand. I don't get it.
The way that the ginger girl says 'other characters', is like she deems people who are below middle class or gypsy/ travellers to be less than her. I dunno why I just got that impression.
That was mean of them to be late with the dress. She was supposed to be enjoying her wedding morning. The company really let her down by being so late ;(
I wonder if they were told to do it by the production crew of the show for the sake of 'drama'? Can't imagine it would be any good for business thereafter though.
@219043204 maybe, but their time and money is just as valuable as everyone else's. They paid good money for a service they didn't receive. It would have added stress and ruined anyone's big day. But yeah, maybe it was done for effects for the show.

@@93lrp I know what you mean, I agree. But I think it's about gender expectations, men being masculine and women being feminine. Men acting that way are still masculine but women acting that way are not feminine. I think that's their judging.
“Walking down the aisle and getting married to another boss.” So true!!!!
Slavery! It’s shocking !
At no point does the bride faint
Thank you 😂 I literally watched the whole thing and I was when
I was looking for this comment, it never happened
She doesn't faint but does fall or take a break a few times by going to the floor at the reception venue before guests come in
Smart woman Noreen! Huge applause!
Betty and her friends show just how prejudice they are. She would be OK if it was all travelers acting like that around her but because it’s country people she has a problem with it.
I was thinking the same thing. Like I've watched so many of the gypsy wedding videos and seen them act like that. But "country" people are "tramps" and embarrassing themselves. I just think she was jealous about how other's were having fun/freedom and were upset about being late and missing the contest so verbally took it out on other's and left.
I don't think it is true. It seems they have different standards for modesty. As far as I have seen, women do tend to avoid alcohol and overt sexual contact before marriage.
I know, the cheeky ba@#$rds
At 19 she’s hardly a child .. she’s old enough to know she wants to marry
@@timestima duuude I’ve personally watched so many weird gypsy weddings and family gatherings where the young girls and boys (and older heads too) grinding against each other (probably their own cousins 💀) like they’re in a seedy nightclub.
Wow I remember the princess cake noreen I'm so proud of you, you've broken the mold in as much as your showing the girls it doesn't have to be just one way, I hope you find the man of your dreams and carry on being awesome dont let marriage change you when your time comes
I'm so blooming proud of Noreen. If you ever read this, you're amazing! An inspiration to girls and young women.
I can’t believe these young girls are dressed that way and the way they are acting!!! And the boys are thinking of marriage before they are 16 or less and grabbing at the girls!! These young children need to enjoy being children and not over sexual!! Crazy too me and I’m glad I don’t live like that!!!!!
Noreen you're an amazing example to all young ladies, keep being you!
There is rats because they don’t use bins 😭
If they cleaned a little I reckon they will get rid of the rats problem 😑
I am so so proud of Noreen, you go girl! Owning her business and everything ❤️
Honestly, the behavior of those non traveler girls was appalling, but you gotta move on, like look how much fun Noreen and her friends had! She is such an amazing girl.
Seems to me like they are trying to attract wildlife for the dogs rather than deter haha!!
I agree with the rat problem, that's a lot of outfits for those girls but they are gorgeous,
I think the woman should change how the kids are being brought up acting as if there 50 years old when there only 5 years old smoking cussing stealing it’s really sad it’s not a good life or a good look especially little girls dancing so nasty and dirty for men yo watch them shake there crotch at the age of 3 years old disgusting

Outfits are gaudy.
I am not surprised the people told them if they are late even 2 minutes they will be leaving and no one will be able to marry them. If you have ever watched these they are usually hours late while everyone waits.
These girls would be late to their own funeral
🤣
Clean up the rubbish! Poor horse having to graze in all that mess
Was that subtle shade with the, “..at a 2 star hotel, Biddy is getting getting ready for her wedding” ?? 🙊
No-one else would take them!
I love the covert shot of all the empty food cans (tins for the Brits, right?) collecting on the other side of the fence. Was a member of the file crew trying to infer something? 🧐🤨🤪
The film crew are judgemental and ask leading questions throughout all these series tbh
Of course! They are trying to show us their life and that includes tinned dog food dumped behind the fence.
@@KatieM786I wonder why duhh!!
How can u infer something for purely filming reality?
It was while he mentioned Rat catching. And u can see why there's a Rat problem
What did they actually expect? Best dress requires actual style. They were wearing costumes, yes the costumes were a lot of fun, but they weren't at all stylish.
The other girls got what it was about and had fun!
Not to mention by the time they arrived the contest was already down to the finalists. Had they been on time and not several hours late, they might have actually had a chance.
This girl said “at least we have morals” ma’am you got married at 16. And your parents allowed it. Good grief.
So you lose your morals because you get married early?
Good grief
@@goodvibes.464marrying young to future criminals and living in a life of petty crimes is loose morals to me. Another thing about loose morals is their culture of "grabbing" which pretty much involves boys sexually assaulting girls into going out with them, which is how they end up getting married
They couldn't even spell morals lol
Probably your great grandma got married at 16 and we all know she had low morals
@goodvibes.464 nobody is mature enough to be married at 15!
I would clean up on the other side of the fence before putting horses there. And that will keep the mice away
So true.
I thought exact same
Are these 8-10 year old girls wearing basically nothing more than a bikini with high heels, for real?!? FOR REAL?!?
If a guy I didn't like grabbed me he would be sorry. I think it's a strange custom where it would only work if the guy was someone you already liked and vice versa.
It reminds me of what male bandicoots do to the females in our yard and then run off when they've done what they wanted. Skeezy outdated behaviour for people.
I wondered about that too. If the girl isn’t attracted to the guy who grabs her I’m assuming she can let him know that she’s not interested? Well I hope she can!
Sorry how? He would be much stronger than you.
Can they not clean up all the garbage around their homes they've created? 🤦♀️
Nah they leave their crap 4 the council 2 clear up. Costs 8 million a yr to us tax payers!!
@@lolabelle4959 And that's why they get kicked off places. It's not prejudice, it's actual damage.
OMG Noreen is so Amazing!!! I absolutely love this show. Especially Thelma!
I have been watching for years now and I’ve always said that I know that they don’t like mixing with non travellers, but I would love to talk to Paddy and his wife Roseanne. They just seem like good people. And Noreen!! Girl! I’m so very happy for you and wish you the best of luck and success with your shop! So wonderful to see the growth and success from your hard work. Great job! ❤ and Biddy??? I remember when she was a little lass… and now she’s married! Wow wow wow so many blessings ❤️🤩
When did you see Buddy as a little lass?
@@mrsl8596 In 2017 when she was at her cousins wedding. Don’t remember the episode but where Swanlee and Josie get married. She married Josie’s brother John.
Different girl, you’re thinking of Cheyenne
I'd be sooo angry if my dress arrived late like that. Plus it doesnt fit her at the top and its so heavy, she cant do anything in it. Definitely not the best day of her life. As for the young women who owns her business, good for her. I hope she is still successful and is living how she wants
Can we all just take a moment and appreciate the narrator?! She's up there with David attenbourgh!!
Cracker's amazing wife ... Robbie Coltrane's Judith. Watch her in that series.
When I was getting married, my father was 40 minutes late! He finally arrived right after my mother walked me down the aisle.
I lived 30 miles from my wedding venue and it was a Thursday afternoon and rush hour traffic. My car turned up an hour late.
She hardly glided anywhere. She looked ridiculous. She couldn’t walk in the contraption she called a dress. Ffs 😂😂
She looked like a trannie with all that make-up looked ridiculous!!
Holy Moly! That was one big dress! Wasn't this a series on tv several years ago? The dresses they wore to the race track remind me of 10 year old girls who played dress up with their moms clothes! Not anything I would ever wear but to each their own.
They wonder why people do not want them near !! look at the rubbish thrown over the fence.
But yet their trailer homes are spotless. Don't get it.

How is that dog ugly!?! He's so cute. Paddy needs to watch his mouth.
😭
With that patch on his eye he looks so cute, Paddy’s blind lol
Paddy´s just fooling around, he doesn´t mean it in a bad way.
THIS is the only valid judgment we can pass on Paddy or any of the others.
That dog looks so sweat!! That puppy is adorable with his crossed eyes💞💞
At 8:47 i heard; "more demure outfits" and it being September 2024, i expecyed to hear after that, "more cutesy, not too much like those other girls"😂😂😂
20:21 she said “at least we have some kind of morals”. 😂😂😂😂
Her husband is a criminal that admitted to his crimes and can’t stay out of jail! I also heard she went to jail for stealing. She should’ve stayed in school, maybe she wouldn’t be so ignorant.
Nicely said.
That's their culture & way of life, you can't really say that.
@@GenXParanormal Being almost naked have nothing to do with cultura but more like "showing the goods" in a sexualized way. Is like a cattle show. Their worth is being a female and not a woman. There, I said that it.
And they can’t have sex before marriage rather a tacky outfit from my daughter then teenage pregnancy 😅🤣🤣
@@D4Disdain You really need to learn more about the gypsy traveller culture before flapping your gums.
@spliffendz8970 Not to mention being baptised, Church every Sunday, spotless houses... shorts under short skirts, nothing is really hanging out, chaperoned dates even when engaged and as you said, very high morals.
Girl really said the couture looked like Primark. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Smh
👍🙄😖
You said it!👍
It’s a TOTALLY different culture. Majority of travelers wouldn’t change their lives for the world.
I don’t think it would have mattered how late they were to the best dressed event...they weren't in the running.
The dressmaker shouldn’t be paid in full after stressing that bride out causing her to nearly miss her wedding. Unprofessional.
If you are walking around with your hand on the front of your hem to stop people seeing your ‘hoo-haa’ it’s a pretty good indication that your skirt is too short.
Paddy looks so young! It’s crazy how old this episode is. Wow!
Totally. Which means Brendan and Danielle’s wedding episode was even older. I wish they’d post the film date!
So much hair dye.

Yes and the series and episode. It would make it much easier to follow..
Where is his wife ? 31:01 arms around a gal and its not her. Did they separate ?

Agree
The way the CHILDREN are dressed at the wedding is horrifying.
plus the way the young ones dance its a bit to much for the age of them they copy the older girls
Noreen is inspirational independent role model.
Poor girl.
It would be interesting if they did a show about where are they now how many stayed married
Divorce is basically shun-worthy in their community so I imagine almost all of them are still together regardless of unhappiness or potential abuse

What's the point of making the dress so big? She can hardly walk in it, clearly in pain and looks miserable. Someone make me understand. I don't get it.
She got the dress she wanted, though
@@karenvonbargen4472She then regretted it at the end of her wedding.
Even if the dress was on time these girls couldn't be on time anyways
@219043204 maybe, but their time and money is just as valuable as everyone else's. They paid good money for a service they didn't receive. It would have added stress and ruined anyone's big day.
But yeah, maybe it was done for effects for the show.
@@rustyhowe3907 Of course the producers added the drama to the show.
