Hi in terms of the logbook entry for the elt battery change, how do you write the entry?

John Land the best thing to do is review the multiple templates found on the inter webs written by qualified aircraft mechanics/IAs. There are key pieces of information you would need to include like your certificate number and specific type of work performed. Always include model / part number for multiple reasons! Lastly you can find software out there that helps a lot if you want to take on regular maintenance yourself.
