I do agree with the reflecting part though. As you grow older and get out of the 20s and you have a more fixed life, you realize that the years go by much faster than you thought and that your time with others, including family, is much more limited than you thought. Partially it makes you sad but at the same time I think it helps you realize what you want in your life or not. You stop wasting time in situations that are not growing with you and you take the steps to become better.
