Goal for 2024 work life balance…. Is to have a work life balance. My job is in OT and we have been for months and we also have Flex Time to where we can start as early as 5a or late as 10a. I do a 8a-4:30p but with OT, it’s more 6:30p, and I always struggle with getting dinner done, working out reading spending time with my husband, it’s exhausting and stressful. I could start earlier to be done at 4:30p, but I have no motivation or anything.
thank you for sharing 💕 sometimes that flexibility makes it so hard to create that boundary with yourself so i totally understand, i love making sure to get my workout done in the morning so i have more time available with loved ones after work! just have to sleep early enough 💖

I am so happy! about my work-life goal, I finally started a new job, and one of my 2024 goals about it is to not make it my whole life, make "me time" and "work time" divided, bc I tend to focus a lot when something new in my life appears. And this time I really want to keep my hobbies, make new ones, hang out with friends, etc, and not ignore all the others areas of my life just bc I have something new.

Your vlogs are so soothing. You definitely have the right mindset for your new management role. I’ve been in management for a while now and one thing I’ve learned is you have to give yourself grace in this role and especially once you get your team. It’s a learn as you go and taking proactive steps to destress yourself ultimately benefits your team. Keep it and good luck to Thomas on his exams

That energy when grabbing the apple pie from the fridge is exactly how I am too 😂 That bag is so cute, I’m definitely going to be taking a look as I continue Christmas shopping for the fam 😊 Also my work-life goal for next year will be to take more PTO - I ended up taking 2.5 days off this year and it’s taking a toll (major brain fog rn). I just had some guilt leaving my one other teammate alone after we had layoffs, but am going to try get some resources in place for next year!

I would just sit the camera down and hope for the best... do you go back and redo shots like that after you watched the original or do you come up with the idea before you even start...
I think it was watching every Casey Neistat video before starting my own channel 🥹 he’s very cinematic and always thinking of different angles of shots and I’ve always admired that. Yes I’ll film me putting on my earrings in one shot and then get the b roll after!
Presentations are always challenging for me, especially when I am the one who leads the whole meeting 🥺 I came to the point that I started to question if the job I have is suitable for me. Do you have any tips you could share with us on Presentations and meeting? How to be more confident?
