Hi Jason, Thanks for the First Impression. This looks like a really nice kit. I had never heard of this particular plane before. Thanks for the history behind the design. Have a great day. Jeff

the BP Defiant - lovely kit in 1/72nd & 1/48th scale. the German Pilots mistook them for Hurricanes initially and got a nasty surprise. The Luftwaffe Learnt and the Defiant was relegated to night fighter duties and then as as a Target Tugs.

Decent kit of a subject which always interested me. There's one on display at RAF Cosford as an NF variant, great to see in the flesh.

This is a great kit. I built the night fighter version and it produced a very decent result.

Jason, had this for some time. I will build her wheels down and in black. It was successful until Germans released I only defence was a turret. Great review.

I have never heard of the Defiant being called successful. I guess it did better than the Roc.

Brilliant; one of the Airfix: Great Kits; rubbish aircraft - it will include the Blackburn Roc, the ME 210, and the classic: What was that Italian plain that couldn't take off when fitted with guns and radios?
Lovely kit, goes together really well, but it's a rubbish aircraft; who chooses what machines they're going to make?
