You are absolutely 100% correct about ur gut & MS , or i should say with multiple health issues. I have MS also, I was diagnosed seven years ago . From what I have learned in my extensive extensive extensive research because I’m dealing with MS of course is actually very simple, everyone has to detox regularly has to feed their body the nutrients your body needs to thrive and not McDonald’s per se , and be happy with themselves to say the least . From what I have learned good micro biome good Myelin bad micro biome bad Myelin. Theres a lot more ... keep up the good work , God bless u !!

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and experiences Ted. It certainly is a really interesting area of research, that we are only really starting to understand now. We will continue to feature research in this area, and have another interview with another scientist that is also investigating the gut microbiome. Stay tuned for that and, if you don't already, make sure you follow MStranslate across all of our platforms to stay up to date with all of the content that we are producing. Thanks again for your interest - Brett

i have a suggestion why don’t you take intestinal biopsy from the patients in the research to check for different things that can benefit the studies like intestinal “permeability” if that is a real thing ?

Bacteria crossing the BBB, crazy stuff. I am getting my stool tested for dysbiosis, leaky gut markers and some other stuff.

Hi Paul, thanks for the comment. It certainly is a really interesting area. There has been some research into that bacterial toxin crossing the blood brain barrier and it's potential role in MS, but there has been nothing conclusive yet. Stay tuned, as we will be featuring another interview with a researcher that is also working on the gut microbiome in MS in the near future. If you don't already, you can stay up to date with all the MStranslate content by following us across all our different platforms. Thanks for your interest and engagement with this video - Brett
