Hi Yinks, thanks so much for your comment! This is a really good point that I actually have in mind to implement in a future version. There are multiple methods to forecast the return. I am planning to create something using a potential regression or multiplicative method to account for outliers and previous movement for forecasting. I'll add this to my list of projects and release as soon as I can
@@PlanetFinanceOfficial Thank you. Please notify me when you have it ready. If you can include a Dividend Reinvestment, that will be great. Let me know how i can support you. Cheers
if your dca is into multiple stocks, instead of just one etf, how would you set it up? would you have to have a bigger historical price chart, and track each ticker like you did spy?
Hey! You could use this tracker to also add tickers for crypto available in Google Finance. List of cryptos here: www.google.com/finance/markets/cryptocurrencies?hl=en
Hey! Unfortunately you can only retrieve historical data using the daily or weekly options. Alternatively, you can choose a specific date to retrieve the price on a certain date but I haven't managed to figure out a way to get historical price movement per month. I believe you could do it by retrieving on a daily basis and then using a formula to capture the last day of each month to create a new table with the monthly figures. Let me know if you need some help with this, I can try and figure it out.
Hi, I keep getting this #ERROR! in F13 although everything else seems fine. I'm using this code =IFERROR((index(C:C,max(row(C:C)*(C:C,"")))/C17)^(1/(DATEDIF(B17,C7,"y")))-1,((index(C:C,max(row(C:C)*(C:C"")))/C17)^(1/1))-1) Is this correct? Thanks for your help!
Hi Yurek! Thanks for your comment. Make sure to use the correct >< symbols. If possible would you be able to email me? Happy to assist. planetfinanceofficial@gmail.com

Thank you. Very useful video indeed. I have a question though...How can i use the template to forecast % return assuming certain inputs?

You could duplicate the sheets and enter each stock individually
Do you have a dollar cost averaging tracker for crypto’s? Thanks

any idea how to get dividends into your spreedsheet?
I'm working on a tracker that tracks dividends in a more automated way. Stay tuned! Aiming to release it by the end of 2024
Hey, can you also change it to monthly ?
