    I know this video is years old, but it’s honestly so helpful to have someone explain the basics and the vibe around each card rather than just trying to understand from the little white booklets or googling meanings, because each card influences the other in a spread so much! Thank you for this

    Like the video, but I have to say it DOES matter the way you read the cards: example: Cross Coffin is "Burden ends" whereas Coffin Cross could mean, "Difficult death". It really does matter. Birds Mice could be "Less communication" or "Dirty talk" whereas Mice Birds could be "Many flaws" or "Disease creates anxiety"

      +Jamie Morris BTW, I just used my "freebie." I went ahead and ordered the Enchanted Lenormand just now. I'm loving Caitlin's BIG Lenormand book, and to have a handy one to carry with me (and a deck!) is just to much to pass up.
      So, my 6-month card-buying moratorium starts NOW.

      +Jamie Morris Very nice way to break your moratorium and restart it :D :D :D

    You are awesome, Kelly. I love this so much. I ordered my first Lenormand deck the other day, haven't received it yet, and now I am super excited. The meanings seem so easy and intuitive to remember. I'm sure it gets crazy when you start stringing them together but seems a lot easier than Tarot.

    This approach is working really well for me - I'm an absolute noob - probably about a week, and up to now am using a freebie printed off deck whilst waiting for a cheap as chips deck to arrive on Wednesday. Twenty years Tarot - and finally feeling the need for short, sharp answers to short sharp questions - this is so refreshing, and so lovely, and I think Lenormand gives the kind of answers that a lot of my clients look for. I'm very appreciative of this series!

    Thank you for the lessons on Lenormand. I’m been reading tarot for many years as well. I was interested to expand to other types of Cartomancy. Thank you for your lessons or else I wouldn’t have learned Lenormand as fast if I were to study it only with books.
    I’m curious, how come you bit the cover of the Celtic book?

    Great video and handouts. Although Anchor is my work card, I see the moon as "reputation" as in how people see you (specifically relating to work). I like what you said about consistency. I became very overwhelmed when reading different Facebook group discussions, because one reading meant 5 different things to different people. I'm going to start over and 'keep it simple' with my own meanings and see if that works better for me.
    Looking forward to Part 4 ;-)

    Great information here, I've become interested in Lenormand. I ordered the Celtic Lenormand after seeing your review. I'm so glad you put a more positive interpretation on the poor fox. I don't see the fox as a bad thing at all nor a snake either. I feel they can have good or maybe not so good interpretations perhaps depending on the cards surrounding them.

    first: yes, you´re right about the red book in german ;) It´s "rotes Buch". So usually I´m just thinking of "the book is red" instead - et voilà: "right" order :D
    Second: awesome handout!!! Thanks a lot!
    Third: great video with a lot of interesting informations!!! And I really don´t mind the traffic and Belle playing in the back is just too cute (I know this racing around with my cats as well - I call it the "crazy 5 [minutes]" lol). That´s life. Don´t worry too much :*
    And lastly: nice table or spread cloth!
    Really looking forward to the next video!

    I’m sorry but I'm still so confused. I’ve read the Tarot for 20 years. With Lenormand, that whole thing about reading it this way or that, or from this angle or add another card. I’m not being critical, not in the least, I am wanting to know at what point, when and how is the person’s question answered?

    I want this deck...but I must have missed something because I do not know what deck it is. I love it. Which Lenormand deck is this specifically? where did you get it? I do not have any shops anyplace near me to browse for decks so I have to buy everything on line.

    Great video! I do have one point of disagreement though: the fox is most definitely negative. It's a negative archetype found in so many stories and tales. Not trying to be difficult, but your logic about a fox needing to eat doesn't really hold water. If it did, then you could say the mice card isn't negative either, since mice also "need to eat." Hope I am not coming across as difficult. I just don't like to see interpretations getting thrown all over the place. The very reason Lenormand is starting to become confusing is because some readers are drifting into unfounded metaphors about what these cards represent. But I do agree that a fox could be a modifier to describe a "clever" person. That fits.

    • @TheTruthinStory
      @TheTruthinStory  3 года назад +1

      I don’t think you are coming across difficult at all, for me the fox is about thinking outside of the box and has a warning to be clever, be smart, find a different way. I think, to be honest, that systems like Lenormand and Tarot have been used in varieties of interpretations over the years and family’s and areas and will outlive us all thankfully :)

    what is the different feel between lenormand and Kipper?

    • @TheTruthinStory
      @TheTruthinStory  7 лет назад +2

      +Matthew Kiser Hello there, that is a very good question, they have different cards :D They are VERY similar in style and in how you read them, and they are both 36 card decks. The Kipper deck has more direct people cards in them. I need to do a comparison video as that is an excellent question to ask!
