Absolutely amazing walk-around footage! What a beautiful 737!
Nice 737 Max. Best 737 series out there. Both this and A320neo-321neoare the best single isle planes out there! Nice video!
HAH!
Wow, the MAX is so beautiful! Looking forward to seeing one soon! :)
Nice to watch. Thanks for the video. Loved it.
She's a beauty and I can't wait to fly on one of these in the future.
Awesome! Nice job! I've got to visit that museum!
This is pure gold, thanks for uploading! Come on, October, hurry up!
Hey Ryan I love your channel!
Ryan's channel is the best of all aviation on YT.
You guys are too kind, thank you :)
Awesome video.
Gotta love that Southwest livery what a livery for the 737-MAX to be launched in
B738 - 739 MAX & 737-1000 Is Awesome
Best Workhorse ever........Greetings from Denmark.
Absolutely! Thanks for checking in.
Legend says, this 737 is still sitting in the parking lot
Nah southwest are flying them again, so it will join the rest soon
I just flew on this aircraft Sunday. Like the new interoir and the plane is very quiet on the inside.
How did they get that in the parking lot?
What a sexy looking plane. i cannot wait to fly on her come October 1st!!!!!
ME TOO MAN
Pity the passenger doors couldn't be modified to 757 type slide arm/disarm.
Excellent video! Does this have more power than the 900 series?
John Demerse Over the -900ER (NG), yes it does
The -900NG in general is pretty underpowered as the entire 737NG family shares the same engine so its overpowered for the -600 and underpowered for the -900. Since this plane and it’s predecessor was built for their respective engines (CFM56 and the LEAP engines) they’ll be much more power efficient then the -900 or MAX9 and MAX 10
Is the nosewheel flat
How many seats ?
willard schoeffling 175
seems a bit taller
Yael Vega Rojas it is taller they had to extend the undercarriage a bit as the leap has a larger fan than the cfm56
Hopefully Southwest will start flying to Europe with the MAX.
n310ea is that even possible in a 737?
It is in the MAX.
Yes some what. Norwegian is using the Max to hit European cities.
Doubtful. They have hesitations with flying to Hawaii let alone Europe. Europe has a whole host of regulatory differences and not to mention they’d much prefer to put a brand new MAX on 4-5 flights a day around the US rather than just send it to Europe and back in 2 days. They may eventually expand out to Europe but at this present time they have no need to
Just a little dumb-assery on my part, but why does a Southwest aircraft have a "Q" number? i.e. N8705Q, I thought Southwest would be N8705SW.
It could've been a temp. reg number that Boeing was using during the production testing?
....Could be. Thanks OG for the reply. Always enjoy your videos. Well done.
About $115,000,000 US
Is that all?? :D
A D **Airlines' often get deals and discounts with the manufacturers
When it will be delivered?
It was close to delivery until the recent grounding of the program.
For those wondering, it is a manufacturing problem with a rear turbine disk in some of the newer produced engines. This looks like an easy fix. It was caught before they went onto any production (or testing) aircraft. Hopefully, it won't back up the delivery schedule very much as there are two manufacturing facilities for that disk. By the way, the 320neo had problems too (both CFM).
PS: You do great videos. Love 'em.
To be clear, the grounding didn't affect the timeline. WN can't operate the MAX until their fleet of -300's are retired. It's a pilot union issue. Norwegian will operate the MAX well before that. WN's last -300 flight is on Sept 30, the MAX kicks off on October 1.
Also known as 737-1000
Jorge Figueroa It's roughly around the same size as an -800. WN's MAX 8 holds the same as a -800NG (Passenger wise at 175 pax).
Jorge Figueroa the -8 basically stands for 800 hundred so the number stands for the series. For example, 7=700, 8=800, 9=900. 1000 would be 10
Yes, like Jordan said, The only big difference with the max is the engine size. Other than that all the -800s have everything.
So basically, its just a 737-800 with bigger engines.
Collin Geniti the cockpits are slightly different in the max series as well.
Looks like a just another WN 737...
