Don Bosco's Prophecy of Church Persecution | Ep. 40

St. John Bosco’s prophetic charism is especially evident in today’s episode, which tells the story of his vision of a monstrous red horse from the apocalypse that symbolized the persecution of the Catholic Church. Don Bosco believed that sectarians were attacking the Church through undermining the office of the Papacy and by cultivating disrespect for it. This caused great pain to him as this institution was very dear to his heart.
Let us pray to Our Lady that we might share Don Bosco’s enthusiasm for the office of the Papacy. Let us fight the errors of this beast, as Don Bosco asked, “with zeal and courage, each in his own way.”
