For all the Glee fans out there - here’s something new you could watch during this quarantine time :)
I made it just for fun, so I hope nobody will ban me or this video. I just wanted to recreate what should have been the ending of Glee. And of course I added a tiny bit of my vision on the show's finale. Yes, I know, it may look ridiculous sometimes. I did the best I could using only video clips and iMovie app. So I encourage you to use your imagination while watching and forgive me some details I couldn't change or fix :)

How is it possible that this 16 minutes episode represents more character development for Rachel than the entire seasons 4-6???

The thing I hated to most about Glee was Quinn going from main role to supporting role
She was always a supporting role though and then she left the show.

I totally agree, Quinn was my favorite character, she left the show aftet season 3, but she not say anything on finale or fave a conclusion it was very sad. I was tired about Rachel stories and her full time in episodes.
If Blaine and Karofsky never happen, i feel success.

The biggest mistake they made was making Artie, Blaine, and Tina stick around with the new glee club. They knew we wouldn’t care about them so they had to keep some OG character

I would have loved to have seen Kurt and Finn open some sort of performing arts school of younger kids in New York. Sam would take over from Finn. I wished that Tina and Mike always stayed together and Artie and Kitty break up when Artie goes to college but eventually get back together afterwards.
Ella Hobbs - omg I love it!! I wish it was something like that. Tina & Mike were my fav couple! Even though I love Finchel (maybe mostly because of Monchele) sometimes they were toxic and too different for each other. But Tike were the example of a healthy relationship.
I think keeping all of the highschool couples together was a bad decision. Especially Kurt and Blaine and Rachel and Jesse.

@@isayrivera4074 Well, no he wasn't. He was in rehab in the last episodes they shot in season 4 but the producers were planning on him to return for the next season.

I mean yes it’s a classic but they did preform it 3 or 4 different times I liked “I lived” for the ending because of the meaning behind it
King Yazz 804 I loved “I Lived” as a performance but they could’ve used Don’t Stop Believing way less than they did and then use it for the finale. We didn’t need to hear that song as much as we did lol. Even the cast hates it due to it being overplayed in the show

What really breaks my heart is realizing that Cory could’ve actually been in the finale if they ended in season three. I’m actually crying watching this no exaggeration.

Also I really loved that moment where Quinn was in the audience when Rachel won the Tony. It really added something to this and made it even better than it already was!

When Rachel comes into the choir room saying "I'm home" and Finn looks at her in shock before smiling that small little smile... I bawled.
That was the perfect scene to use for Finn's reaction because it conveys so many emotions just in that one look. This was the ending that, in a perfect world, we would've gotten.
You just made me SOB!! Cory dying hit me so hard, and seeing a version of this show ending where Finn didnt die, he and Rachel end up together, and everyone gets what they wanted really feels so beautiful. Thank you for creating this. I needed a good cry this morning haha

I hate how Ryan Murphy wasted a lot of the original characters and gave them nothing
I know. Im still pissed on how he black balled Diana Agron. After all that character had been trought...we hardly ever see her in 4-6 and if we did , it was crappy character development.
I really hoped that ryan murphy made an effort to reach out and actually write stories for the original cast. Yes most of them got a great ending but Quinn, Puck, Mike and some others didn't get a proper send off :(

I think it would’ve been better if the show did end at season 3 and they made a spin off for the what takes place in season 4-6 but not focus so much on the new high schoolers.

Actually it's kinda funny that Blaine sings Loser like me, I mean, was Blaine ever a Loser? He was like a superstar in the Dalton academy and when he sang in with the glee club at Mc kinley, everyone was just having fun with them and clapping along

Considering Cory was dead, the ending was actually really good. I was quite happy with the series finale despite season five/six being meh. I liked season four a lot though. The newbies completely got the shaft
Me, a ‘glee fan’, realizing I must’ve not watched half the episodes these clips were taken from bc I didn’t recognize half of this. You coulda showed this to me and told me it was an unaired episode of glee and I would’ve believed you.
Wish glee would’ve ended in a more unionized way, wish they would’ve kept the characters we knew and loved instead of switching up the cast over and over

This is the ending we really needed. I believe that season 3 should’ve been the shows finale as there was no reason to add other seasons and we could have gotten a finchel wedding, the remembrance of the new directions being national champions, all the character could’ve have a whole 5 years later scene where all the characters have their dream lives and maybe even a finchel child 😱😊😄

Honestly after watching glee fully once I now stop at the season 3 finally and tell myself that Finn and Rachel get together a few years later of something as I cant take that heartbreak again.

I feel like this was portrayed perfectly and I agree with after a while Rachel going back to Lima.
She would reach a point after finishing Funny Girl and be like it’s time for home. And do one off appearances on broadway.
It was actually the original ending. She was supposed to be super famous in NY and then go back to Lima and reunited with Finn (and Finn was supposed to find his own passion and dreams apart from what she wanted).
This would’ve been the best and now I’m emotional
+ Tine and Mike get together instead of whatever they gave us at the end of season 6
having a proposal was such a strange choice lmao. Mike was smart to turn it down but they could have at least tried dating again because of it.

I can with confidence say that this is the best episode of GLEE I have ever watched.
And I've seen the whole show through multiple times.
Finn taking over Glee club like he was supposed to really tugged on my heart 😢 the cuts to him were surprisingly organic, considering how little he was actually in the show after season 3. I seriously did not think a fan edit of an alternate ending would make me so emotional. I’m kind of glad we had the three extra seasons of trainwreck because it’s so entertaining and I’d be sad if I didn’t have them to binge watch, but this is the PERFECT way to wrap up the actual story. This plus a special for Brittany and Santana’s wedding, that is, of course

I think the original ending was supposed to be that Finn begins coaching the glee club and Rachel becomes big on Broadway and then she returns to him and Lima at the end of the series. I suppose they could not do it because of Cory's passing
for the ones who said that this had to be the actual ending, we were gonna get this type of ending, but since cory died before launching season 4, they had to change season 5.
edit: so sorry guys i could've swore i wrote season 5 instead of season 4. He died while shooting the last episodes in season 4. I didn't know i got that much likes thank you

there were better ways to finish the series without cory there, lets be honest, season 4 was already awful with cringy editing over-the-top acting and coping the OG characters, it paved the way to an awful ending, cory's death affected the series but it could still be saved...with proper written of course
Wang Xian I actually quite enjoyed the later seasons. It was definitely a different show, but I wouldn’t say it was awful
My mind is blown, this is the true ending to glee, and I never understood why they didn’t finish the show on don’t stop believing also thank you for giving Quinn her moments! She truly was my favourite character x
It's probably because Finn wasn't there, the show started with him and Don't Stop so it'd be almost unfair to end it properly without him. Honestly, it seems like an artistic decision to not end with it because Cory didn't get the end he deserved.
I remember during an interview during Season 5 I believe, when Lea said that Rachel was supposed to come back to the school and find Finn in the Glee Club room with her speaking “I’m Home” was supposed to be the original ending to the series but when everything happened with Cory they had to change it to what we got. This is the closest we will ever get to that ending and it’s perfect

Mark can't change what he did or fix it. Yes what he did was beyond terrible, but he has been gone for several years now. Lets try and loom at the good he did. Cory, and Naya were so amazing they all will be missed.

This is like the the perfect ending, I mean there are some points that would have to be explained, but it's a beautiful video and a beautiful end for this wonderful show. We missed Cory so much 😭.

I’m 29 now. Through out my school years I did dance and performing arts. I wanted to join theatre when I left school. My friends parents would put the idea down. “Stupid. Can’t make money from it.” Me being 16/17 I was impressionable. And it hurt me bad. And I lacked confidence despite doing drama and all those classes. Again, I’m 29. No job, declining health. And watching GLEE makes me tear up at what could have been. If you’re reading this, please just go for it. Don’t listen to others, don’t wait your “friends” to join you. This is your path. Please follow it. I know I still have time, plenty actually. But when you shun a dream for so long, it kinda fades. I do however want to travel. Maybe work with animals. Don’t stop believing ❤️ In your dreams and in yourself.

The kids in season 4 would have still happened so it's fine for kitty the the problem with it is roderick is there because the season 6 members would have never met Rachel if she never went back

Tina being prom queen (without the terrible writing) and everyone having a decent mention in the ending with successful careers and then coming back is how things should’ve been. This is really good!! It would’ve had so much more emotional impact that way instead of splitting the storyline and having them go back to Lima so many times. Also Rachel having a decent amount of character development and character arch. She started a terrible person and ended a terrible person irl and that’s just not someone you want to root for. But this works out so well 😭😭♥️ I know Cory’s death changed some things but honestly the whole show revolved around Rachel and if anything, Finn dying was a great opportunity for Rachel becoming a better person, just saying. They shouldn’t have overplayed Don’t Stop Believing every damn season and could’ve used it for the ending 100%
I kinda disagree with Rachel ending as a terrible person, I mean, she was Klaine's surrogate, that's one of the most selfless things to do
@@arnnoseque4385 She did a lot of kind things... but a lot of them were out of self-interest, especially towards the end of the show. She was a better person while in school than outside tbh. They did the time jump and she might've become kinder during that time, but not showing that properly in the writing is just bad TV.
@@LaMenteOpen That I agree with, but I definitely think that her growth was very shown in season 6, tho I must agree that they set her back just to milk her character in s4/5 because in season 3 her scene with Quinn at prom just showed a lot of growth as a person.
I think they should’ve had more flashbacks in the last season in the actual show
What I kinda hate is that Glee begins talking about how a teacher (Mr. Schue) is trying to get Glee club back and ended being all about Rachel and slightly talks about others characters. And how main characters ended being supporting characters. I love Glee, loved and enjoyed evrry character and story lines but I mean... Come on.
Glee literally became the Rachel Berry Show
The show revolves around Rachel berry because she is the female lead.
I feel like most fans don’t understand the writing. From the pilot episode only three characters got backstory. Those were the obvious “lead” characters. Will, Finn, and Rachel. The show was always going to be about those three. And the only reason it became “the Rachel show” is because Will got his happy ending, and Finn (Cory) passed away. You can’t focus on someone who is no longer there. The others were always supporting characters. Some got bigger parts than others, but realistically they were never going to eclipse the leads. Fans just refused to accept that their faves were never going to be more than what they were.
I also feel like a lot of viewers never actually performed in the arts or participated in competitive choir, so they try and apply “preference” logic where it doesn’t always belong.
In my alternate storyline, Klaine never breaks up.

I think if the show had kept on integrating new characters every season who were completely new and different we would have gotten to know them and it wouldn’t have made the show go downhill after the original bunch left. A few every season would have been nicer than a whole class in one go
Watching them sing Home felt like a dream. Half of the people in that scene are gone now.

congrats, this was an amazing video. I loved you bring Quinn back and still showed the new guys from season 4 as Marley, Jack, etc. I think all them deserved a real ending, Quinn, Puck, Marley, Jack, Ryder, Matt (Mike´s dancer partner), Mike, Tina, Mercedes, Artie, Sam, etc and not just Santana, Britany, Rachel, Kurt and Blaine, cos just these couples had a story more complete. Anyway congrats for this emotional and beautiful video.
I feel like this only followed up Rachel and Kurt’s future properly and not anyone else’s. I mean, the actual show barely did that too, but it at least had Finn and Santana’s future, along with Blaine, Artie, and Sam in Season 5.
The Griffin - true. But well, it has Finn’s future as well (being a teacher). I didn’t like what happened to Blaine, Artie and Sam after season 3, so I didn’t know how to change their storylines properly.
when i heard kurt’s “eat your heart out kate middleton” at the end i teared up😭

Every single character had such a terrific character evolution and that’s what made this show so great and every one of them made a connection with the audience

Especially Homeward Bound, Cory, Mark and Naya all come in at different times...it's somehow the perfect tribute song for them, and they didn't even know.
(Obviously it's complicated with Mark, but you can't deny how sad this whole thing is)

This is amazing and i absolutely adore this. When I first heard that Corey past away I thought someone was making a cruel joke on the internet when my sister told me. I couldn’t believe it and it hit me so hard.
honestly im trying to hold back tears right now, partly because i'm on a glee binge since naya rivera but this video is truly something else, this ending is everything that was good about glee, the care and detail put into it, with what was available to you to use is ridiculous, and its such a beautifully fitted ending, that feels hopeful enough, but not too unrealistic, its stripped back (naturally, given it relies on premade content) but in a way that works so well. i wish this had more views, it really deserves it
