Hi, what if the original copies are in a different state than the state you are traveling to your interview from but you have the coloured scanned copies on your drive, can I make do with that?
@@wendiiking1243 This is the exact same thing that happened to me. They insisted that I must present the original. Hence I had to ask my brothers to send them to me via DHL. I logged in at 8:40, but the interview did not hold as scheduled. Will we be reschedule for the interview? Secondly, did anyone experience same? If yes, what is the way forward please?
Goodevening, thanks alot for this video. I would love to ask that if I just got a new experience after submitting my SOP, can I add it to the SOP I would be tendering at the interview since I am going with an hard copy hence I can edit and add it.
Hello Mr. Akin, thank you for taking your time to do all this. We are really grateful. My question is “Can I go along to the interview venue with my awards certificate that I didn’t make mention of in my SOP?”
Hi, Your updated SOP should be both ways. You're explaining why you've chosen the course and why PTDF should sponsor you and what they stand to gain if you are awarded the scholarship.
@kemfon Ime Hi, Unfortunately, I don’t have any guidelines for school in Germany. I’d suggest you check the schools website for their admission process and other related matters.
Hi, Depends on what mode of interview you selected. You’re not submitting your transcript. They’d only check the transcript to be sure what you’ve stated in your application is true.
I wish I got to know this information earlier. My question is this, does PTDF give the applicant the funds to pay tuition by themselves? When you say approved schools, are you referring to the listed schools within the PTDF scholarship?
Hi, No. You won’t get the school fees paid to you. It would be between the school and PTDF. I’m aware some schools send the scholars invoice to forward to PTDF but PTDF would pay your tuition fee directly. Approved schools are the list of universities PTDF has partnership with in the country you selected. You can check PTDF’s website for the approved schools list.
Hi, Please select virtual. However, when you've been selected for the scholarship, you'd have to come back to Nigeria because you'd need to do your tuberculosis test, sort out your visa etc.
Hi, Yes, you’d be allowed to defer the scholarship for maximum of one year. If you don’t take up the scholarship the following year, you’d forfeit the scholarship.
@@EverestOnyekwere your reference letter should primarily come from your academic institution. If you’re studying with a business school, a reference letter from your employer should suffice. Please check with the school you’re applying to.

I have a question @ Mr. Akin. Can you apply for more than one ATAS certificates using different schools? Since some schools need ATAS certificate to give you an unconditional offer
Hi, Yes. You can apply for ATAS clearance for more than one course/university. This will give you the flexibility to change your mind. I'd advise you check with your school once you've been offered an admission.
Thank you so much for the session Akin bru. However, I don't agree with the way you're emphasising on physical meeting. One can actually create that connection with the interviewers virtually, besides, it shouldn't be an issue since they were the ones including that option. Virtual interview is more comfortable. From experience.
Hi. First, I'm entitled to my opinion and it doesn't matter whether you agree or not. You don't come up to my page to say all this. It is very wrong and silly ! If you have a different opinion, simply go to your page to make a video and voice out your preference. Physical meeting is my preference, especially because it is Nigeria. I owe you no explanation. Just the same way I would not disuade you from your virtual interview preference.
I suppose there can be prons and cons in both instances. Virtual saves u money and may reduce psychological pressure for some people like u pointed, but places the burden of responsibility to ensure u have a high speed internet facility and a computer system with HD cam to avoid hiccups during interview. Mind u it makes no sense for u to use virtual if u already live in an interview centre state like Abuja. All the best!
Hello sir. i know i'm late sir, but i was going through the video right now and i have a question. When they are awarding you the scholarship, do they consider your first choice country or all the three countries you applied to? And when you are applying for the universities, do you apply for universities in all of the three countries you selected?
You’d have the flexibility to choose any of the countries you selected during your application. You can apply to only approved schools in the countries you selected.
Hi, There are different options you can explore. The most common one is your WAEC. Most schools accept WAEC certificate once they are able to verify the authenticity of the results. What you can do is to get a scratch card or pin. Attach it with the WAEC result so the school can view your result. Also, you can request from your undergraduate university to issue a letter stating that the medium of instruction of your bachelor’s degree is English Language. Some schools have their personal English language test you can take free of charge or at a cheaper price to show your English language proficiency. Just so you know, some schools will never accept anything apart from IELTS or TOEFL. So, it’s always better to check with the school what options you might explore to prove your English language proficiency.
Thank you sir very helpful and insightful, one more thing sorry, I applied University of dundee during my ptdf application, so my question is how do I make the University know that am from ptdf.
Hi, Unfortunately, it’s difficult to say. However, that conversation can be had when you’ve gotten the PTDF scholarship. I know well that other fees such as flight ticket, visa fees etc. would be refunded if you paid on your own.
