Hi just came back to say I finally made the pate and it was delicious! It kind of tasted like a tuna mayo sandwich?? Is that how it's supposed to be? I made the think mayo could be used as well as cream cheese as it has a neutral flavour too... What do you think?
That's great, I suppose it would have a slight tuna mayo vibe to it. I've never made that link before 😃 You could use mayo if you just want it as a spread but it will be a little looser as the cheese will stiffen in the fridge and give it a firmer texture
Yeah, I used full fat cream cheese and it did have a cheesy taste, so next time I'll probs use low fat when I find it lol .. either way it's defo something I'll be having again

Can't you just flake the fish with a fork and then stir it into the mixture
You absolutely can, you'll likely end up with a slightly coarser pate but will still be delicious
