He mentioned both Konami and Bandai Namco as a way of making fun of Hideo who he confirmed that Kojima wanted to get rid of him ever since the MGS3 days and wanted to get a bigger known star to represent the franchise. This is why David never seen or even talk to Hideo ever since the mgs4 days. He did however met up with Konami Numerous of times
