  • I've decided to take a bit of a hiatus from uploading regularily during the summer. I plan on resuming sometime in September however it will probably be limited to one video a week. I will also be finally uploading my youtube trailer sometime this week and it will be found in my video list for anyone to check out (you might find some surprises in it)
Here is an episode from 1993 featuring a whole whack of stuff going on. Enjoy!

Its interesting because as I was typing information out while the video was uploading youtube suggested one of the tags be '1993 world trade center bombing' and here I thought it was suggesting that because of 1993. You learn something new everyday!

During this era, the Temptation setups were pretty easy and this inheritantly difficult game was won frequently. Nowadays, the setups are impossible and most contestant are bailing out. Not the best of days for the TPIR staff, or for Bob.

Rod Roddy (R.I.P.) makes a geographical error @ 14:34: West Germany did not exist as a country in 1993. German reunification occurred in 1990.
R.I.P., Mark Goodson, Bill Todman, Johnny Olson & Rod Roddy. :'(

@"trailblazer91", yes, back then, on Friday, February 26, 1993, "The Price Is Right" game show had Mr. Bob Barker(who's real 1st name's Robert) as its former host just as his previous studio announcer there was late Mr. Robert "Rod" R. Roddy!

That one-bid situation happened, I believe, about a decade later, and a contestant ended up playing two pricing games in a row.

THis was the day of the first World Trade Center bombing. Must have happened later in the day, as this would have certainly been preempted had it happened in the morning EST.

Amy Adams? Are they sure it wasn't the actress soon-to-be? By the way, is that a sweatshirt she's wearing?
If she did, she would've barely made it onto the show since they have to be over 18.
