I feel you. 30 years ago i had 2 little girls, a full time job, a husband who traveled constantly for work and i was pregnant. I still don’t know how I did it. It’s true it doesn’t last forever. We all have our struggles. It’s only natural to experience the ebbs and flows of life.
You are strong even in the tough times. Give yourself plenty of grace. You certainly deserve it.

Tam, you’re managing your mental health & your honesty is what will help you get through the times when you are feeling down. I have learned little by little throughout my life that I can work through my thoughts & feelings. Remind yourself how far you’ve come & remember that it’s okay to not be 💯 all of the time. You are worth it & your family needs you! 🙏❤️

A few years ago, I lost my vision. I was a truck driver, photographer and did marathons.
I fight my demons on an hourly basis. I struggle to eat, drink my water, sleep, and basic personal care. I can not leave my home whenever I want. I have to rely on others.
I sometimes think my husband would be better if he didn’t have to work as hard as he does to support me. We had so many dreams when we bought our home years ago.
I have lost all my friends over time. I can’t relate to others any more. I just cook and clean.
Your videos alone, help me so much. If you haven’t posted, I watch your old ones. I have seen you pick yourself up. If you can do it, so can I.
I wish life was always beautiful. But without the terrible painful days, how would you recognize the beautiful joyful days?
I will pray for you Tamera.

I want to send you a virtual hug🤗 . I have had depression for 40 years and the struggle to have more good days than bad is real. I have come to the realization just recently over the lenten season that I need to give it all to the Lord. Cry to him, tell him you need him and give all your sadness, lonely and overwhelmed feelings to him. He will gladly take it. I always thought there are worse off people than I am and felt selfish to ask for help. Jesus loves you, he died for you.

I appreciate your openness. Wish you all the best. You are an inspiration to me and to many others. It is difficult to be both mom and pop while he is on the road. Interestingly, when he stopped that and was home all the time, it was very difficult to have him home all the time.

I completely understand where you're coming from. I don't work outside the home, and my husband of 15 years travels for work. He's not a truck driver, but he's in the power transformer industry which requires traveling all over the United States. He can be gone anywhere from 3 days to 3 weeks at a time, depending on the job itself. Like you, I do it all. I'm not complaining at all, but some days, like you said, it can be HARD! My children are grown, so it's just me, 3 dogs, and some chickens...LOL...The main thing I've had to realize for myself is, that it's ok if something doesn't get done. I am one person managing the house, 2 acres of land, 3 dogs, some chickens, a small garden, the shopping, the household inventory, the cleaning, repairs, upkeep & maintenance on the house & property, inside & out, and on 2 vehicles, the bill paying, bookkeeping, banking, etc...Anything that goes wrong or needs fixed, I'm usually the one who does it. It's ok to take some time for yourself if you're burned out, and it's ok to feel the way that you feel. But just fyi: You're doing a great job mama! Hugs to you!

Tamara, Big Hugs to you.Thankyou for keeping it real. You are an inspiration to all stay at home moms and all working moms.
I used to be a stay-at-home mom a working mom in the home my children are grown now and Lord knows I miss them being small. I too was blessed to be able to do that thanks to my husband. Now my children are grown and I work a 9 to 5 job. I have to earn my 40 credits to qualify for social security when I get older the government doesn't consider a stay-at-home mom a full-time job I beg to to differ. I don't know how I did it but I remember my stay at home job was harder than the one I have now. You're doing an doing an awesome job🎉

Just know that yo are not alone on that mental struggle bus, I have dealt with depression since around 18, but it's been a lot worse since October 2021, my feet and legs started going numb got to where I couldn't drive, could hardly get to the bathroom in 2022 had not one but 2 back surgeries it helped but only for a little while then my mom in law passed away same year and my dad too, I had to put my big girl britches on cause my then 15 year old daughter started cutting herself it's been so hard trying to find balance being crippled I like broken better, we take one day at a time, if that's to much we take one hour or a minute I'm 44 and it's hard learning new ways to get around, but we got this cause of people like you who are real and don't hide your bad days cause we all have them we are human after all, sending you lots of love and hugs from Northeast Tennessee, Thank you God bless!!

As a wife of a trucker who used to long haul I completely understand. We have 3 kids but I worked because of financial reasons. However I had family to help with my kids so I was able to do that. We talked about me staying home and trying that but I wanted the social aspect too. Looking back, I think I would have made a different decision. It’s okay to be thankful you’re able to stay home but also struggle with feeling lonely. I don’t think there is any wrong decision and both have their positives and negatives.
I appreciate your videos. You do inspire me. RUclips is a funny creature. Everyone wants that “ascetically pleasing” professional looking videos so I think that is what’s pushed. But I promise you are helping others with keeping it real and I for sure can respect that!

He’s finally local now but there were SO many times I cried and thought it would never end. I am a stay at home homeschooling momma of 4 babies. And it was HARD to manage everything by myself. And even now that my husband is home we are dealing with so much! Our oldest daughter (15) has been diagnosed with epilepsy and we’ve spent 5 months on our knees praying all the prayers. Sometimes life is HARD! And I don’t think the trials will ever completely stop. If you ever need anyone to talk to, I know you don’t know me but the offer is there ❤️

School pick up lines are convenient but I’m so glad my kids’ school didn’t have that because chatting with other parents/caregivers at drop off and pick up was such a welcome interaction for me to just chitchat or vent to even if it was just a few minutes twice a day. Even simple things like us sharing what we were going to do over the next few hours - just easy talk.

Being inspiring & relatable while still being vulnerable is more realistic than most others on RUclips. Always be your true, honest self with zero regrets. It's perfectly normal to have bad days where all you want to do is cry. Your mental health is extremely important. I wish I lived closer bc I know we'd get to chatting & nothing would get done 😂. Remember to smile for yourself often bc the person you see in the mirror has come such a long way & deserves appreciation.

Best thing Ive ever done besides marring my husband. I have a huge list of ailments that I no longer have. After about 4 months my anxiety, depression, loneliness has gone away. Since Covid, I feel shut off from the world. I am older (68 yrs). I don't have a friend to go have coffee with or go shopping with anymore. Oh Tamara! I feel like I’m looking at myself 20 years ago. You are repeating my story. Yes, being a SAHM is a blessing, however, it’s also a curse. I loved being home with my boys’ but I lost my identity. I felt like a single Mom because hubby owned two businesses that took him away 80-90 hours/week. He was never home. He’s home more these days and the stress of raising a family is long behind us but doesn’t minimize my feelings I had of being completely lost. Your feelings are completely valid!
I’ve mentioned it to you before but I feel it’s extremely important you think about getting a part time job at a local school or volunteering somewhere. It will do wonders for you! I love my days I spend working at our local middle school as a teacher’s aide.

Thank you so much for being real and honest here. There are a lot of SAHM RUclipsrs that try way too hard to be perfect and fake and not problematic and it’s so easy to see through. I appreciate how genuine you are regardless of what you’re going through. ❤

Your video is relatable , because as a homemaker myself and making lots of changes plus dealing with health issues, it can get overwhelming at times. You’re right to have bad days, but it’s good to talk about things too. Talking helps you heal, it helps you sort things out. I understand about not having a social life, or not that much of one. I can understand you and understand how it would be hard being responsible for everything, plus not having that friend you can do something with. I’m sad you’re having a hard time right now, I wish I was there, even if just to let you have someone to talk with. I know your bad day will pass, but it’s still hard to get through them. Sending hugs, and hoping tomorrow will be sunnier. Enjoy your treat, it looks yummy.

You are so right- it’s easy for us as viewers to think it’s all hunky dory in your world when we only see the good stuff. I appreciate your honesty in sharing the “not so good”. We all live our real lives, and when we are down, I know it helps me to remember it won’t last forever. I generally make myself take a walk or go for a drive to shake myself out of the doldrums.
Prayer is a powerful force, and I am praying for you through this rough patch……🙏✝️

I totally understand, I too had a bad time many years ago. I had no friends, I raised my children and then the grandbabies started coming and I was the baby sitter. I had no time for myself, I was always at home, my husband would come home from work, eat his supper and sit in his chair and fall asleep and I was alone. And I understood ,he was exhausted from working hard all day, but I felt trapped and alone, I felt like I had no escape from these four walls. But time went on and things changed for the better and I made a pact with myself that I would get some friends and the Lord blessed me with very good friends that are there for me at any time. I will be praying for you and you got this girl, God has your back, just remember He is always with you . I love you ❤

As I am watching this, I am praying for you. As a mom(3)and a woman(54yrs old) I get and I feel everything you are saying. Sometimes we don't give ourselves enough credit, nor do we allow ourselves grace. You are doing an amazing job. We all have hrs or sometimes days where we are not "the best" but we are human. Know from this momma and stay at home wife you are loved and greatly appreciated. I am inspired by you, even though I am a older woman. I could say so much more..lol but just know, God has got you

I have watched your channel for a LONG time and I normally am not a big commenter, on any channels to be honest. But I love EVERYTHING about your channel. If we lived closer we would absolutely be friends. I struggle with mental health, physical health (weight & auto immune) and juggling the working from home mom homemaking homeschooling homesteading life! If you ever want to reach out and have someone to talk to, you can lean on me!!!

Thank you for being vulnerable and sharing - it makes you even more relatable. My situation is a bit different in that my husband started working from home full time when the virus started. I used to have the house to myself during the day and really crave a bit of time here alone. We lost our sweet Labradoodle on Saturday and I still feel emotional.

I went through much the same when my children were little. I have sensed an inner sadness in you lately, and have felt concerned for you. My husband was a truck driver as well. It's hard because there is no one to share the day to day responsibilities with. You have to be mom and a dad when he is gone, and do all the errands and you sleep alone at night many nights, the companionship is not always there. Then with you having to run the house and make the decisions alone a lot then your husband comes home for a couple of days, and wants to have input into home decisions and sometimes that's tough as well. I sometimes was sad seeing couples at church, and I was there alone. It's a hard lifestyle, and I admire how strong you are, but it is easy to feel vulnerable sometimes. I will pray for you to keep being strong. You do an amazing job doing a very hard lifestyle, so do treat yourself to some rewards, you deserve it.

I can totally relate I’ve dealt with anxiety/depression most of my adult life. Got to the point I could only function without crying by taking Paxil so finally found a therapist who can’t prescribe medication and she helped me a lot see things differently. I started making a Happy Book kind of like a scrap book that I put inspirational quotes and memory verses or just things that make me happy like my nieces colored pictures on two pages for me and that helped me because it kept me busy while putting positive thoughts in my head. My ex husband & I had a very toxic relationship so that didn’t help but the guy I’ve been with now can tell when I’m getting down and he’ll say let’s go for a drive or a movie or target some of my happy places and helps keep before I spiral. I’ve often wondered watching your videos how you handle it when Luke’s gone. You def handle it better than I would have. I did not stay alone until my mid 40s when my ex and I first separated. My boys were younger then and one would sleep in bed with me and I had a cot next to the bed and they’d switch off. I have a big family so will constantly send group texts to talk when I feel alone. Could you volunteer at church? I teach a girls group every Wednesday and helps me also get my girl fix since I wanted girls but have boys. Will be praying for you cuz I know how you can be fine and then it just hits you but you always have us to talk to ❤

I wish I could give you a hug because I know exactly how you’re feeling.💕 I served in the military as a single mom and spent more time away from my daughter than I did with her. I recently remarried and left the military to become a stay-at-home wife/mom. Even though I’m living the life that I prayed for, it can still be isolating and lonely. I spent my first couple of years in this new role healing as well, but that trauma/hurt is and will always be there in the back of my mind. It takes me out when I think I’m at my strongest, sometimes for days at a time, but it doesn’t last forever. You’re not alone, either! You’ll be in my prayers tonight! Thank you for sharing!💕
