Thank you so much for participating in this care collab. What a lot of really good and useful information you gave us! Very easy to follow too. My first visit to your channel and I’m very impressed. Subscribed. I don’t have one of these dens yet but it’s been on my wish list for awhile. Hope I find one soon! All your care tips will be very helpful when I do find one. Thank you again.

Thank you for taking the time to write your comment and subscribing! I really appreciate the feedback. I hope you find a friend that has this orchid, it multiplies so quickly that it’s often shared among hobby growers. Good luck!

You're welcome! 😃 oh wow! The gecko! 😔 I have a gecko, but he has never been near my aphyllum! Still, this was an awesome heads up for me because never say never 😬 one thing, though, I am glad that we times it right for the CareCollab so that your aphyllum could feature, even though with a single bloom. It was my biggest concern. Now, I did not factor a gecko to reduce your bloom show. I so appreciate you taking the time to contact me soon enough to be able to coordinate this carecollab in a timely manner for all channels. Thank you!! 🫶🏼

The gecko appears to be a Mediterranean gecko which has been introduced seemingly everywhere. They eat moths and roaches and I doubt they are eating your blooms. I have them here in Florida and we have never had any issues with them. Iguanas on the other hand are a menace. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mediterranean_house_gecko

Thanks for sharing. I think I have this, but she hasn't flowered for me yet. And I list the tag. So it will be a mystery.

@@MamasOrchids Well to be honest it really doesn't take that much work but i find myself getting lost sometimes and realize I have been in the grow room for hours 😁

I spend most of my time on the vegetables so I consider the orchids a step child almost. Yes you’re right it really doesn’t take much to do a quick watering each day, trouble comes when there are insects and disease to tackle. I am hoping to set up a drip irrigation on the orchids sometime. Thanks for watching and hope you have a wonderful day!

@@MamasOrchids I've been busy figuring out how to get a drip system but it's harder then you think, the tubes aren't that hard to get but getting the right nozzle to put in the pot is tricky. For insects I always go for the nuclear option 😎
