I realized during Covid that whenever the siblings (7 of us) had a zoom call, how the 5 MAGA siblings spoke the same language, I called it "Foxspeak", using the same words and phrases on whatever issue we spoke about. Recently, my oldest brother actually asked my opinion in a text and it took me three weeks to figure out how to respond without him feeling attacked. The bulk of my answer was about how hard it is to have this conversation when we don't even operate from the same fact base, so we've been discussing that and more. So far, we're having a respectful, if not weird back and forth of fact and fiction. I hadn't spoken to this man in two years (his choice) so I'm hoping these baby steps turn into an awakening of a sort, I'm not sure if that's too much to ask. We can only hope and try!
