Tim, I saw my first drones on Saturday night. It was after midnight. I saw three, one very bright and obviously quite close, the other two more faint and seemed to be quite a distance away. They were all diamond shaped,the nearest one was twinkling. It hardly moved except when a cloud came close to it. The clouds were strange, pure white and they seemed to be rising from my garden. It was a very calming experience. 😊

You are absolutely right, no movement appears to be happening. No moving trucks etc... nothing.
