He is one of my all time favorite singers and guitar players he's absolutely one of the best of all time. I'm really glad he didn't go through with it. I've been through it too. Suicidal thoughts, depression, anxiety, stress. Life is hard but music makes it worth it all.

Wow, I love BSC but don't know much about their backstory, but Chris has always stood out as having an absolutely brilliant voice, and most of my rock muso mates from Scotland agree. You've got a great talent, a great band, and even us farmers in Scotland love you! (how's that for diversity!)
Odd as it may seem us Scottish farmers have something in common - it's a hard life with lots of (apparently successful) people suffering from stress, anxiety, depression (and even some suicide attempts).
I'm an ex musician now living on a farm (fuck me!), I know how pressure, drink and drugs can bring you down to rock bottom. But know this; no matter how bad you feel, there are lots of people who you don't even know that love you and respect you. (I'm not going to preach at anyone as I know how hard it is, but for me when I managed to kick the alcohol and substances (which was fucking hard) then life and my state of mind started to get a lot better). Take solace from the FACT that you are not worthless, rather you are admired throughout the world.
