    Really enjoy when you do these more serious OPs. It's why I really like the 506th stuff and rarely watch the other communities you Zeus for (although I do watch your OPs for your own community as they are quite different/serious in terms of stakes). Hope this becomes a recurring community you Zeus for!

    I was thinking if you wanted to give a neat cinematic moment for the players, utilizing enemy mortars with irregular / untrained OPFOR units, possibly have a large enemy wave that would *probably* be unfair to actually fight, charging the players under mortar cover, only for the AI to "accidentally" mortar their own troops. Just a thought for future ops where you are playing the enemy as easily panickable / untrained.

    I was thinking throughout the video: “WhatsTht would tear into these viewers for some of these suggestions.”
    Then he did.
    If Karma’s guys want another op, could I suggest one that continues this story where the players have to stabilize the region since a power vacuum formed after the warlord was captured?
    Another possible idea is that there’s a rebellion within the warlord’s army after the slaughter that happened in this video.

    It's annoying but I've forgotten the real Overrun code from Vietnam.
    But Broken Arrow meant a damaged Nuke. Not being overrun.
    But Hollywood will Hollywood and they liked the phrase and misused it and now it's in the popular consciousness, so Google isn't helping me look through the fog for the original phraseology.

    I'll suggest my workaround for GLs and spacing again.
    One Life means One Life Unless GLs were involved.
    Then you get TWO GL specific respawns. And Liru will try to keep them slim.

      Ideally I'd say one respawn per player. But no. It's a mission respawn rule.
      GLs wiped a squad? Players can wait for a chance to reinsert as a squad. Might take half an hour. It'll suck but they can learn a lesson.
      Two reinserts on a mission level should allow a few GLs to encourage spacing, while not allowing Zerg rushing behavior by giving them free respawns.
      And normal Grenades are supposed to punish, and are under used by most AI.
      Also means Command getting dunked on by a missed GL can get back to issue commands to men, even on an overhead level till their own reinsert can be arranged.
      Come to think of it. Commands' GL Free card might have to be a separate ticket. Don't be dumb! Keep your situational awareness.

    Super cringe that Liru forgot he put the tunnel boys on hold fire at the beginning of the round and didn't to allow them to fight back in the end

      Tunnel boys had been hearing the echos and booming if the battle raging at each end of the tunnel.
      The reinforcements were supposed to come to their aid, use the tunnel to assist the VIP. They never showed.
      They didn't want to fight back.
      So Liru the Grand Master had to motivate them some.
      But some just didn't anyway. Shame they got shot despite surrendering.
      At least that's my head canon.

    Great job, but would love to see a lot more indirect fire harassing the human players. Just throw a few "late" mortar strikes at their previous locations - have it be inaccurate and use it to pressure them to move. There's no need to USE them to kill the humans, just scare them - it's extremely unrealistic to think this kind of assault would not be met with mortar fire.
    Any commander knowing the general location of an enemy raiding force for almost an hour would not sit idle and would send IDF. You made a comment about Leutin using too many mortars and you're right - learn from that, include them, and dont use them directly on human players unless they sit still for 40 minutes after making contact. Like... what happened in this video.
    One example would be "ranging shots" slowly working their way closer to a friendly human pos, then a delay, then a strike if they don't get the hint. 1st strike is scattered and innacurate, 2nd is more accurate, 3rd is deadly and kills any players who haven't moved. Put the mortars at the second checkpoint and let the US forces kill them and neutralize the threat. The more of this I watched without a reasonable response from the commander (mortars) the less realistic it seemed.
