I felt very identified with this because I made my own chin rest too and my friends also asked me to make theirs. It’s nice to see your work 🙌

very good video, made with quality, and at the same time very instructive, without forgetting the musical background

So right. I studiedmusic - physiology and we came to the same result. Great that you ere doing this work! So many people- have injuries. I work with my pupils and care for a good chin - and also shoulderrest. It' is worth it ❤

Fascinating! I have tried several chinrests in my 49 years of violin playing. I now use a "Gordon" chinrest sold by Shar. Perhaps I'll have Mr. Purich make me chinrest someday!

Hey Peter - I was so happy to come upon this video. How interesting! I remember you helping me with my violin playing way back at Chomedey High in the 70's...

Bravo & hats off to you.A chin-rest is vital in the correct placement of the violin & has been neglected as an accesory in the last 50years, till now.Last but not least beautiful music in the background to your video and SUPERBLY PERFORMED!!!Greetings from South Africa wish I could come to your luthier shop and try some of your chinrests or have a custom one made but alas am too far away.

Very good information and while the background music is very nice, it is way too loud.
I could only make it through half the video.
Trying to separate your voice, from the music, was giving me a headache.

Learn how to shift and you won’t need a chin rest, then you also avoid injury from chisels and planes 😁

Go back and watch the video a couple of times and grasp the information that's in it, then you wont have to make stupid sarcastic comments.
