Kyle Pitts is gonna be top 3 TE's. He has been working incredibly hard this off season. He has a lot to prove and he is up for the challenge.......FACTS!!!
Hands Down!!!!!! Pitts is about to put up big numbers this season with now two positions as TE & WR with Cousins. This is our year back into playoffs again.
Kirk is what the falcons needed tbh, i liked their move to grab Penix also. Was a big fan of Mahomes at TTech and Penix showed alot of those same traits as Mahomes did. Huge arm, pocket presence, ball placement, and pre snap reads. Both were a lil raw but that 1 year behind Alex Smith did wonders for him. The longer Penix sits, the better. Hate how rookie qbs are thrown to the fire these days. Exactly why there has been a high bust rate for 1st round qbs in the last decade. Lamar, Allen, Herbert, Mahomes, Love, Goff, Hurts, Rodgers, even Cousins all learned from a successor and have all had great careers.
Even more important for Kirk, is who his coaches were in Washington that helped him succeed (and are BIG fans of his)....Mike and Kyle Shanahan, Sean McVay, Matt LaFleur, and Kevin O'Connell.
@@Paula-mv8im Exactly 🎯, has learned/been surrounded by great coaches. Ppl can say whatever about Kirk and big games but he still has a 5:1 TD to Int ratio in the playoffs. He is actually one of the most consistent qbs in league history tbh.
The only time you throw a QB drafted in the 1st round as a starter is when your team is extremely bad and the team needs a spark. Going back to sitting QB's and developing them over a 1 or 2 year period (depending on where they are drafted) is the best formula...
Kirk does not need to carry the Falcons...just make the normal plays and let your talented teammates do their thing! Kirk's experience will help us in the playoffs!
"In my Will Ferrell voice from stepbrothers " Did he just become my favorite sports commentator ? YEAP !! Somebody who finally sees the potential in the Cousins to Pitts and London connection !!
All thay being said, dont be surprised if we start 1-4 or 2-3. Our first 5 games are very tough, with some like KC on the road. I see us going 11-6. Ceiling of 13 wins, floor of 8 wins.
How are we defining "massive" success ? That's what I wanna know. Success in general will happen. Kirk Cousins is too good to not have some success with a talented roster, but the massive part is what I want defined
@@JWLSports Here's where I would slightly push back, Julian.... This is an Atlanta franchise that less than a decade ago, they had the MVP in Matt Ryan and made the Super Bowl that same year. They also had the Vick era where they were literally making history to some extent. Will Falcons fans be ok with just making the playoffs, even if they go home after the 1st game ?

Haha let’s go!
Why are we acting like Kyle Pitts didn't take a huge % of his snaps from the slot and our wide last season?? 😂🤦♂️
We found a HOF qb and we going 21-0 Super Bowl champ
kirk or penix?

Kirk, like Ryan exceed in comeback wins.
Don't know how clutch kirk is but ik defense immediately giving up a score screwed the ryan era falcons out of at least a half dozen more comebacks

I think massive success is playoffs and relevance for the falcons.
Winning the division would be massive and not our of reach.

We don’t need to worry about these hypotheticals. The Saints or the Bucs are winning the division 😂
@@PatriotWatchUSAi dont agree. playoffs is what is expected. but for a massive year i say we gotta go to the conference finals

Watch the falcons win multiple superbowls ❤️🖤🤍 back to back
