@ you didn’t watch the game. Detroit was about to score and fumbled inside the 10 when they would’ve been up 23-0 not to mention the missed FG. They dominated the game with reserve players all over their defense. Even IF the Bears hit a long field goal with Santos(not likely)they would have had to win a coin toss and scored a TD to win it. That wasn’t happening MOST LIKELY(like I initially said)based on the Lions being the best team in football and the bears having a losing record.

Totally agree. It’s also clear that Williams’ mistakes are being blamed on the HC while his successes aren’t.
I read an article on ESPN saying the HC is responsible for developing Williams, then points out the improvement of Williams and his rookie record (omitted* under Eberflus).
The nfl and it’s writers have a vested interest to skew public perception in the No 1 draft pick’s favor to manufacture interest and hype. Just like they did and continue to do with Bryce Young.

This really starts at the top. NFL teams are a public trust. The Bears organization has fumbled the bag as they do year after year. But there has to be some accountability to the QB position. Caleb could’ve managed that situation on the field better than he did. He didn’t start playing QB just yesterday!! He was the #1 overall pick in the draft for a reason…to be able to win games like that on his mental and physical attributes. That’s what makes him a #1 pick…right?!?
He demonstrates a lot of good QB physical talent but not a lot of QB intelligent talent.

They need to fire GM as well . What has the GM done since he been there ? Nothing at all but losing seasons and he got to go ASAP

This doesn't make sense. Why fire him when he still has a timeout in his back pocket? That's just ridiculous. At least wait and let him use it next week. Smfh

*So Thomas Brown has gone from being an OC for only 5 games with the Carolina Panthers and 3 games with the Bears to HC, eh? The Bears should have just let Matt Eberflus complete the season as usual, now Thomas Brown has to concentrate on being the CEO of the whole team instead of concentrate on his work with Caleb Williams. Wrong Move By The Bears.*

The guy is a rookie who has been sacked so many times and the rest been running for his life. He was sacked 9 TIMES vs the Patriots not counting the plays he was running with people on his heels. He's spent more times just running for his life to have time to assimilate what's happening on the field. It's the Head Coach who is supposed to have the background, the experience and the knowledge of the game and how to win them that's supposed to teach these rookies and that's not what's been happening. In all of that pass rush, and pressure and sacking, He's not throwing interceptions which says a lot for a first year QB.
