That is a stellar hunt Rob! I am approaching 150,000 nickels searched and found a 1914-D and a 1921-S tonight in the same box! Amazing to find either of those before finding all of the Jefferson nickels.
Last night at work, I found an INDIAN HEAD CENT ENDER in a bank roll. I broke the end of the paper open just enough to remove the coin and replace it with a different penny. The IHC turned out to be a 1907.
“Hey everyone. It’s Rob with Rob Finds Treasure. I’m here at my room in the nursing home with box 4,687 of the series-still looking for that 50D. Charlani is at the bingo tournament, and I put my sleeping pills in Seeker’s pudding so he would stop hitting me with his cane. So let’s get this hunt started! Here’s hoping for a find that will give me a jolt better than the one my pacemaker gave me yesterday!”
I've found one 50D in the thousands of nickels I've gone through and you would have thought I won the lottery.. I screamed.. I still have it .. I found a 1942 with full steps a few days ago and that was just as exciting.. one time I got a roll full of buffalos and almost had a heart attack..had to be someone's grandpas stash that they just took to the bank.. it's addicting I have boxes and boxes that I stock up to hunt.. love it..
Rob, I was doing some nickel rolls and I found an odd looking coin!!! It was made in 280AD a Marcus Aurelius Probus Roman Coin, it is in terrible shape but it is in the safety deposit box now. I was like is this a Roman Coin??? Unreal find!!!
What a beauty of a hunt! A couple of silvers, buffaloes, a "V" nickel, a semi key, and some nice quality nickels! The only thing missing was that pesky 1950-D or a shield nickel. Incredible boxes, brother!
Great hunt Rob, but I beat your trifecta with a quadfecta this week...2 box hunt today yielded 08 Liberty Head, 37 Buff, 45-s silver and a 70-s proof with FS.👍
Hey Rob, I may be wrong, but on your 11th roll (4:10) the 1949D looks to me like it is a "D over S" Perhaps a "Micro-S"???. I wld Double check it anyway. BTW, Thanks for all the great info you post for new & seasoned collectors! E. Novoczynski, Scranton, P.A
Hey.. so I coin roll hunt too.. was wondering if you could do a video on how you store and catalog your coins.. every table in my house is covered in coins some in coin flips and others in jars ECT.. there's gotta be a better way than the way I'm doing it would love to see how you keep everything organized!!
I got Monday $160 in customer wrapped rolls from my 2 favorite banks. Gotten some great scores and some nothing hunts. A few months ago the bank called and I picked up what ended up being 147 rolls, pure BU dated rolls. 1959 to 1990. This week the first 50 rolls were pre-searched. Only a 41 and a 58D, the next 28 rolls... zipp... The second to the last roll a 1951 Philly and a 1939S ! In 80 boxes that was only my 4th key date.. and I had already found the 39S. Saved at the very end!
You know Rob, I was thinking (and yes I do once in a while) it would be fun to watch your nickel hunts and play a drinking game with some good Bourbon on the rocks--find a silver, take a drink, find a Buffalo, take a drink, find an upgrade, take a drink, find a key date, take a drink, and find a V-Nickel, take 2 drinks. I think I would like a drinking game like that, even if I couldn't type too well after the hunt is over. Just saying.
When I see a silver looking 1942 D with the mintmark to the side of monticello it makes me wonder if they bolluxed and used the wrong planchet. Annoying it is so hard to test.
I searched lots of boxes no v nickle no 50 d but got very lucky!! The last month and half around 15 boxes more i found my first v a 1910 as well as not 1 but 2 50 d s in dif boxes. And 2 days ago a very cool large cud 1983 p
And I also need like I saw on your video collectors said I'm a beginner and I need maybe a A book like I saw you put them in in in in in in order in that book I need your help

Hey, Rob, that Buffalo ender was a 1921 to my eyes.
Wow! Two war nickels, two buffalo, a V-nickel, a semi-key date, a foreign - what an amazing hunt! Another great video!
What a great second box. Two 1920’s in the same roll? Wild!!
Unbelievable finds.A V,2 Buffaloes,and 2 silvers.Awesome.

Wow Rob there was a lot of finds in those 2 boxes, really looked like fun, congrats on all the good goodies brother 👍
Buffy the Jefferson slayer! Buffy's are my fave.
Don't you wish all boxes could be that awesome! Great hunt Rob!

Really Great Hunt
Great finds in box # 2
Rob, I was doing some nickel rolls and I found an odd looking coin!!! It was made in 280AD a Marcus Aurelius Probus Roman Coin, it is in terrible shape but it is in the safety deposit box now. I was like is this a Roman Coin??? Unreal find!!!
Buffalo nickels are so cool
fun watching those finds o yeah!
Hey rob! Just had a dandy of a nickel box myself, 4 war nickels in a single box! Beat my best of 2
Rob that was a very exciting hunt 💪🤩
Wow, what a great box number two! Need to go back and see if it has a sister box 😊 Great video as always Rob! Happy Hunting, Stephen
Epic hunt awesome finds
Whoop whoop!! A V nickel!! 🤘
I actually found my 1950-D day b4 yesterday!!!😊
Wow crazy that the other odd looking edge in that roll was a 1942-d nickel. Worth more than the silver actually lol
What a beauty of a hunt! A couple of silvers, buffaloes, a "V" nickel, a semi key, and some nice quality nickels! The only thing missing was that pesky 1950-D or a shield nickel. Incredible boxes, brother!
The first buffalo looked like a 31 good stuff rob!
Damn! What a hunt!!!😊
Great hunt, Rob. I can only wish my next search will yield that many quality finds.
What a great hunt! Congrats on your great finds!
The sigh in your voice said more than the words you chose to let us know it was not a war nickel.
Great hunt
Great hunt rob ❤
That was a fun hunt.
Nice box Rob
Great nickel hunt!
I found a Liberty head V nickel a few years ago at a place where I fish and spare accessories. 😮
Must bow down to the holy trifecta! I'm so jelly! I'll just take my two nickels and start rubbing them together so I can feel better about myself.😂
What an amazing hunt! Thanks for sharing!!
Trifecta!
That 43 S looked like a metal detecting find
fantastic hunt
Fun hunt!
You gotta start the buffalo album!!
Great hunt Rob, but I beat your trifecta with a quadfecta this week...2 box hunt today yielded 08 Liberty Head, 37 Buff, 45-s silver and a 70-s proof with FS.👍
WOW! Nice!
Silver's better than a circulated proof imo.
I hear the god of 50 is tired of being last in a box. Wants you to start at roll 50 and work your way down!😂
Pretty good hunt !
Good stuff
Second box was Fire. Congratulations on a Trifecta. Fantastic video. When do we add the buffalo album to the hunts. :)
Congrats on all those finds! Damn it’s not quite a collection dump but that’s as closed as you can get it. Happy hunting rob. Happy Thursday
you rock rob

I agree, would be awesome to see how you store and catalog you collection!
Is there a book for v nickels I'm new to the whole stacking and coin collection
that was a decent hunt! collection dump? hope you can dust out that 50-d slot soon.
Nice
You sure that 39 didn't have doubling? Thought I saw some.
I don't think you get a lot in Texas, but maybe, since you got one on this hunt, do a Canadian Nickel side album, like you do for the cents.
I got Monday $160 in customer wrapped rolls from my 2 favorite banks. Gotten some great scores and some nothing hunts. A few months ago the bank called and I picked up what ended up being 147 rolls, pure BU dated rolls. 1959 to 1990.

BOOM! 💥
Jealous of that box

🎲🎲 come on 50d!!!!!😂😂😂
Not watched it yet, lets see if rob found treasure (v2)
Edit: Holy bananas
👍
When I see a silver looking 1942 D with the mintmark to the side of monticello it makes me wonder if they bolluxed and used the wrong planchet. Annoying it is so hard to test.
I searched lots of boxes no v nickle no 50 d but got very lucky!! The last month and half around 15 boxes more i found my first v a 1910 as well as not 1 but 2 50 d s in dif boxes. And 2 days ago a very cool large cud 1983 p
