I have visited the Jewish museum in Buenos Aires and would encourage anyone to also visit.
Having said that (me, not Jewish),l have issues with the video/talk.
The idea that Jews were unfamiliar with agriculture is almost laughable, what is a shetl and a moshav?
Jewish cattle dealers were very prominent in Germany until WW2(source David Cesarani).
Los Judios Gauchos (Jewish cowboys),is both a film and a book, probably not available in English.
As, to immigration to Argentina, probably safe, but Peron was an ally of Hitler and openly greeted Nazi war criminals... remember Eichmann was captured in Argentina!!!!!
Having said that l would like to say if you get the chance, visit a couple of unique places that should interest anyone ( especially Jewish),
Bevis Marks ... oldest synagogue in London.
Steep hill Lincoln...oldest former Jewish property/houses in England.
Berat Albania... small Jewish museum which is in danger of closing.
    Thanks and be safe.

Thank you for your comments. The reference to learning new means of agriculture applicable to a new environment and learning about raising cattle in that environment from the gauchos speaks to the early Jewish settlers of colonies in Argentina (Moisesville, etc.) in the late 1880's.

      @@JewishMuseumMKE Thanks for your reply.
I am not convinced that raising cattle on the Pampas would have been too different than the Ukrainian steppe,l will leave that to the farming experts.
My own experience and knowledge of Argentina leads me to think that sadly Antisemitism is present and on the rise.
If you get the opportunity, do visit and enjoy.
I should imagine that Uruguay had similar experiences for Jews.
Paraguay would have been nightmarish due to the Nazi Stroessner.
Brazil.. not sure as l am more of an “expert “ on Spanish-speaking Latin America.
Again the Jewish museum of Berat, needs urgent support,l have been and it does invaluable work.
      Stay safe and enjoy.
