After my Very tech savvy son tried for 20 minutes to unsuccessfully change the time zone I found your video. It was THE MOST HELPFUL AND WELL DONE VIDEO!!!! I wasn't looking for the tinker until you mentioned him. But, this answered my question. ESPECIALLY since you had to log in to your account online. That was the piece NOT mentioned anywhere else. Thanks SO much. Now my husband can be on time.

Thanks Jeff. Was trying to change the time zone for hours! Strangly it changed timezones without me having to go into the website when I went to Boston to Denver. When I came back to Boston, it was still stuck in mountain time.
Same with my husband's watch when he flew to California and when he came back it fixed itself by one hour but it stayed in I I think also I think it was mountain time so it only fixed itself by one hour and you can't get it back to the normal hour and time
Tinker appeared at 1minute, 31 seconds. I think you can change time zone also from the app: Account menu => app settings => select time zone 🙂. You can't switch from 12 to 24 hours format, from the app, though.
Thank you so much. I have been struggling for 3 days trying to figure out how to get in the right time zone after traveling to a central time zone where my Fitbit Charge 4 changed to that time when I charged my watch. Have been home 3 days & it wouldn't change back to eastern time. So thank you.

Awesome. I followed you and it worked really well. I didn't have to go back into the app. however to get it to sync. It automatically synced when I chose the time zone. Thanks much.😂
thanks Tinker. i was rattling my brain trying to figure this out. i personally think it's a bad design that something as simple as setting time zones has so many steps to it. anyho, thanks
I have the clock face that shows the seconds ticking and I really need that for work but every time I have the “Always on” display enabled, it switches from my clock face to one without the seconds. How do I keep the seconds moving?!

Didn't work for me. A certain clockface called Layers which is tge one I used on my Versa 1 for years. Now new Sense 2 won't come out if military time after following your instructions. If I pick a different clock face it shows correct time. Fitbit couldn't help after doing same thing you did.
I will be on a cruise without internet access, can I change the time zone. If not, why not. Will there be a fix. A watch that can't tell time correctly.
For the outrageously high price of a FITBIT it should be 1000 times easier just to set the friggin time. Thinking very seriously of tossing this piece of crap in the blender with a few nuts and bolts and hitting HIGH.

Exact same thing happened to me. Went to visit family in Texas and it flipped to their time zone. I could not figure out how to fix until now.

Weird, the first time I sync after passing the atlantic time zone it changed from 24hrs back to 12 hrs
