Schneider NEEDS to be a priority. I'm on the fence about Kakko and Lindgren. I definitely would not go long term with Lindgren. His body will not hold up for many more years. He's constantly getting rocked. It might be wise to flip him for assets while he's still relatively healthy.

Lindgren's heart is the only thing that is worthy of any increase, but, IMO his size and Offense are liabilities when he is paired with another undersized, and overmatched Fox. That pairing has got to be split up if this team is to improve. Lindgren is an offensive liability. I'd rather have a guy who is 6'5" and scores as little as he does. Sorry, if we are getting nothing offensively from Lindy, Troub, Schneid, and whoever on 3rd pairing, why don't we sign guys like Mikola, who at least was noticeble. As for Schneid, before we make him Bookeboom, i need to see some more offense. How many Dman can we carry with under 20 point?

i do hope they lock up schneider for a good bit. he has so much potential and can be a key piece for this team for years to come. lindgren i also really like because he is a solid backstop for fox to go make a play, and is easily one of the toughest mfers on the ice. of course that leads to concerns with longevity, but having a few back to back 3-4 year deals would be ideal. as for kakko, i think his time with the team is over. the 2 year deal he was on was a 'prove it' deal. in my opinion, he did not prove himself enough, despite the opportunities given to him. i truly wish him the best elsewhere, but it would not benefit the team to allocate cap space towards him.

Lindgren also isn’t a great complimentary piece to Fox I think Fox is held back by lindgren cuz he’s incapable of moving the puck well and is a black hole offensively lindgren is very replaceable and ranger fans give him way too much credit and put way to much value on him he’s very replaceable and for less money and he’s undersized and gets hurt way too often he is a solid 3rd pair LD and PK guy in a perfect fitting role
For the price and what he brings id say he is. Of course we'd like to have another true top pairing caliber defensemen but it's not that realistic we get one this offseason unfortunately

Schneider is 100% worth resigning. Kakko can go, has never found it. I love Lingren, what heart, but we need bigger stronger. Trouba is the problem that needs to be solved. He is terrible. He and Miller are major liabilities.

I'll be disappointed if the Rangers don't trade Kakko. I've never been a fan was quite disappointed when they drafted him so high. He's overrated IMO.
They drafted him high because he was the consensus #2 pick, with some rating him #1. Any GM would have made that pick.

His value is quite low right now it depends if another team values him enough but it's not worth dumping him off for a late round pick
