Songs will be sung about how the Neg'var, took out half the fleet and then turned it's might fury on that outpost. Everyone nearly died, it was glorious!
Gowron, after his prized posession has made a return: "Badger, what have you done ?! There have been ancient human steam ships that were more maneuverable than what you handed back to me! Good thing it was just the Cardies and not a spaceberg you had to deal with!" Clearly the super Negh'Var is somewhat purpose-built to attack stationary targets or the biggest of ships only. For everything else its impulse engines are underpowered so all these front-facing annihilation devices can only wait for the enemy to make a mistake if he's more maneuverable.
The Hutet wasted some time on the beginning when it didn't seem to choose a target. Had they gone head on from the start it would have been very close.
Wow, that was actually a really good battle. It was super close. I think most thought it would be walk over. Had you not taken that Hutet out so quickly I think the Klingons would have lost to the Cardassians. It made all the difference because had that Hutet lasted a little longer it would have taken out another Vorcha or two. Despite having the rather useless Hidekis on their side, it appears that their Keldons were really doing some good execution against the Vorchas. Your Neghvar was decisive. Nothing else could have tanked all that fire and survived. You should try it from the other side! Instead of the useless Hidekis, how about a couple Bakrus?
Your right! I was looking back at the battle, thinking if it could have been played differently. However, like you say, if the Hutet wasn’t taken out of the equation, the Klingons would have failed 🖖
The Negh'Var was like the Terminator. Slowly walking towards each target and killing it, shrugging off all of their firepower. Say what you will about the Klingons, they are really good at destroying other people's spaceships
😊Hey Admiral.. love your story up to the battle. makes it like a mini show. nice.. lol The Hutet. is Sacré Bleu. Huge.. gosh.. I could see or try not to look at Gowron and his eyes, they scare me lol. 🤔😄I still cannot believe that story Worf and the Tribbles.. lol. the great war.. lol wow. oh my That.. was a battle and well done Admiral. gosh.. took out the Hutet, and the outpost gosh. Qapla!! Admiral and to your house of Retro-Badger lol. got the "P'takh Cardassians. nice.. sorry for the mean Klingon word lol. this was insane and the Outpost had a wicked beam , very nicely done and well done on the Cloaking.. another entry in the Stardate log 78179.9... just saying lol.. !!!😊🖖
I probably would've picked off the smaller ships first. Klingons had a little more survivability. But as the smaller ships got picked off your remaining fleet could team up on smaller ships. Better to focus on enemies so they can't fire back.
The Cardsassians wish they had the Hutet class during the Dominion War. Operation Return would have turned out a lot differently if there were two of them in the Defiant's path instead of two Galor class destroyers.
Interesting match up liked it. I agree I bet there were skirmishes between the Klingons and Cardassians away from the major front lines. I bet the Cardassians had a bone to pick with the Klingons after the war they had with them when the idiot Gowron attacked DS9 and attempted to take control of Cardassia.
YES! They have beef. But, the Cardassians definitely got their payback considering they won their war with the Klingons. I mean, the Cardassians ejected the Klingons from their space as soon as they joined the Dominion. Most people assume the Jem Hadar did all the work, but the sheer numbers mean the vast majority of the fleet that drove the Klingons out in only a few days was Cardassian. Only about 80 Dominion ships came through the wormhole that first day and the Klingons had many hundreds, if not around a 1000, ships on their Cardassian front. For the Klingons to lose so quickly and so decisively, it would require a near parity in ships, if not a Cardassian-Jem Hadar superiority in numbers, as well as weeks of intelligence preparation and logistical planning done by the Cardassians leading up to D-Day. With only around 80 Dominion ships, the Cardassians must have supplied the remaining 500-700 ships. The war-ending offensive against that sent Gowron packing was probably a 90% Cardassian enterprise.
06:48 - I’m quite surprised, that when that Klingon ship cloaked right next to the outpost ; at the last minute that it wasn’t destroyed by the resulting explosion.
To be honest, I only just noticed that the Klingon Vor’cha I am on about, did in fact survive ; but if you look carefully, it lost its cloaking device - You can see it flicking back onto the left side menu / display! - shortly after 06:51 >>> Have a fun trip home !!
That Negh'var's slower than usual! I think the fight would've ended way, way earlier if the second impulse engine was still there. Can I request to see more of the New Orleans class? It's a beaute. Maybe against the Jem'Hadar?
The Hutet was destroyed way easier than I would have thought it would.. I expected better resistance to damage & destruction, despite it being fired upon by the 'Super NeghVar' ship of the Chancellor,..
I think its wandering about the first minute put it at a disadvantage when fighting a peer ship like a Neghvar. But in all honesty, a single Neghvar shouldn't stand much of a chance against a Hutet.
You need to make use of the fleet commands in large battles, especially when facing a capital ship like the Hutet 2.0. It would have been an easier victory and you would have taken less damage if you had ordered the fleet to concentrate on the hutet at the beginning using the 'Attack my target' command
@BrianGriffinQuahog this was in Bridge Commander remastered. There is no option for that, yet. Only in kobayahsimaru. I agree it would have made for a swifter victory 🖖
Getting rid of tribbles... as a biologist, I'm against most forms of genocide, but (aside from their purring help people with anxiety/depression) they're a menace. But like Bones said, just stop feeding them. 😆 ok, back to the fight. Edit: Kahless(sp?) would be proud, but I wanted prisoners. 🤣
I don't understand the physics in bridge commander, there's no atmosphere in space so therefore no resistance so the the ships should b moving much quicker and easier
It is not about air resistance, it is about mass inertia, which also exists in space. You just can't just move into another direction when you are already moving in one direction.
Honestly, Cardassian ships look like disgruntled turds. Whoever designed them was either really depressed or on a serious time constraint. 90's CGI + poop shapes = Cardassian ships
That Hutet got obliterated. Gowron must have rolled his eyes..😅
He had tribbles in engineering lol 🤣🤣🤣
Songs will be sung about how the Neg'var, took out half the fleet and then turned it's might fury on that outpost. Everyone nearly died, it was glorious!
A tournament of fleets perhaps, the Klingons vs. the Romulans vs the Cardassians vs the Federation, vs the Dominion?

The Hutet looks so strong and menacing but got absolutely smashed by the Negh'Var
The Hutet wasted some time on the beginning when it didn't seem to choose a target. Had they gone head on from the start it would have been very close.
You needed to hear Brex and his two cents on the matter
Amazing that the Super Negh'Var still had a functioning cloak, even after it had been badly damaged. It's usually one of the first systems to fail 🖖
You scratched the paint!
The Klingons Vs the spoons.
Good battle. Gotta do some early earth Starfleet battles and cardassian and federation border war battles too retro 😊
Well done.
That was tough and go there.
What a glorious battle. There will be songs sung about this day in the Empire.
Qapl'a!!!!!!!!! Ty for the video and LLAP!
Thanks for watching 🖖
Tribble trouble lol Gowron must be going crazy lol!
First round of Blood Wine on me!
In the immortal words... uh, word... of General Martok, "yyyes".

There can be only one answer to this:

We see what you did there,.. 😅not too bad..a decent effort at the least.

Request for a new ship: USS Smiley, in honor of Chief O'Brien. 😃
😂😂😂 Yes, he surely deserves this by now! We need an O’Brien and Smiley. Maybe it could be the Irish Class 🇮🇪

Martok would forgive you for the damage to his flag ship. If it was Gowron on the other hand...
Going to have to face the chancellor...
earlier: I'm Chancellor Gowron, fresh from the Great Tribble Hunt II: Slaughtering Bugaloo
So, a mirror?
Was that a John Wick Quote i heard.. from John wick 2 i think lol
Break out the Blood Wine
Good fight
Thanks 🖖
Great video

@@RetroBadgerGaming My bad. Mixed the two up.
@@BrianGriffinQuahog no worries buddy! They can be easy to mix up. 🖖
@@RetroBadgerGaming We need a Kobayashi Maru Remastered.
Best of both worlds
more fight from a hideki than the hutet
Break out the bloodwine
Killed your boarding parties...

I could never harm a tribble! I'd create a large island for them all to live on 😂. Maybe there's a Tribble homeworld? 🖖
@@RetroBadgerGaming now we need a descendant of Jones from the Trouble with Tribbles.
Could you recreate the omarion nebula battle
How do you keep the game from simply crashing? I have tried a similar scenario and 3 minutes in it just chokes.
can you do 1 intrepid class against 3 miranda class ships

Yes!!! 🏆🏆
Where's the normal Hutet?
Do it the other way
"Bird of Preys"? Sounds strange. Isn't "Birds of Prey" better / correct?
The other way around
Where is the Cardassian amar?
It's BIRDS of Prey, not Bird of PREYS.
