What I hope they would do with the Tekken Shop items is to allow us to buy the items with Fight Money albeit at a very large cost that will take multiple games to earn. So now players have two choices when wanting to get a Tekken Shop item:
1. The quick and easy way by spending real money
2. The longer, grindier way but doesn't cost you real money.

I agree with you but I don’t think the fight money is pointless but I do it’s pointless to have a fight money and not be able to used except in customization and in the gallery but do think fight money should also be used to buy items in the tekken Shop like costumes avatars, and tekken coin or there should be items in the tekken Shop to be purchased with fight money I think it’s pointless have that fight and not have any other ways to buy anything out of the shop 😊
Fight money has been useless since Tekken 5
There also used to be more variety and unlockable customisations from ghost battle
It'd be so much fun to save up for your favourite legacy costume with fight money.

It doesn't help in Tekken 7 that if you play 1000 online battles, EVERY single customization items except for the rare ones that you randomly get in treasure battles is unlocked. Making the fight money useless overall. I have no idea if T8 has this feature as well.

Agreed. Since they added Tekken Coins, I think a good idea would be exanging the fight money for Tekken Coins. And since we get so much FM, the coins should require a ridiculous amount of FM, like 1M of FM for 10 Tekken Coins. That, reducing the FM earned per fight and no FM in player Matches would insentive players to play even more.
For me the biggest problem is the trash items in the battle pass xD
Have same energy as Blue Motes in Wild Rift, useful at first to unlock playable characters then when all character unlocked, it's useless
Too me it be cool if the Tekken Team at Namco Bandai can make use the fight money to buy illustration art and use it as a background for the main menu for tekken 8.Also they can make fight money optional for premium costume if you don’t want to spend real money.
They should make legacy costumes at least 100,000,000 fight money in the tekken shop. And costume packs 50,000,000 fight money.

Tekken tag 2 and tekken 7 had nice customization options. Tekken 8 is big step backwards 😢

The game is gonna end up dying because of this lol this game already had way less content on launch than tekken 7, and they’re adding pointless shit like the avatar skins to the game instead of actual clothing and outfits
They should make G coins earn by play offline mod and for online no need at least give offline some love look to t4 t5 t6 ttt2 I really enjoyed offline game play now t7 and t8 are boring becoming

1. These cutscenes are heavy on the storage of the game
2. In tekken 7 you would unlock all of the items for playing a certain amount of rpunds.
couple extras gigabytes. nothing new really. they'd just need an update to add them.

It sounds like you are so used to predatory monetization tactics that you are begging to have a system where you need to grind 10 wins to being able to buy 1 single shirt ot have the option to use real money to earn those coins instead. I couldn’t disagree more. The system is fine as it is and while it might be pointless it’s not anti consumer which is good
we already have outfits we can buy with real money. that's DLC. which is fine i guess. but why have a currency that you can acquire so fast and have almost nothing to spend it on? half the time, i forget i earn it after a fight cause it's so useless. i just wish they'd give us more things to use that currency on so it has value. cause as of right now, at least for me, i don't have any incentive to obtain it.

A guy complaining about in-game currency in a game with micro transactions.😂 this poor guy’s priorities are more busted than that SNES Sailor Moon S fighting game.
At least they did release a patch recently to fix character balancing In Tekken 8 so everything is great for now until they go down the usual route of having the initial release build of a DLC character being overpowered to incentivize a purchase or people discover more cheese strategies. Although this is a game with a bounce/juggle mechanic, so I’m pretty sure a high-level of cheese is fundamental game design, in order to appeal to someone new.

@@MadMikeYT he’s just trying to make content. It’s hard to come up with things to talk about and the algorithm favors frequent shorter uploads where it previously favored longer less frequent Uploads. It would seem that one or two at uploads a day is actually the sweet spot and anything more seems to kill engagement and cause a demotion and recommendations. It’s really hard to get right so people are throwing out literally anything just so they can measure the changes in engagement or visibility.
You would complain if they made you pay $ for costume colors.
