Hey Airborne, you missed a step.
- Get Flash sown on
- Cut the excess cardboard around the Flash
- Reform the beret
AATW! LET'S GO
Quick and straight to the point. Love it! :)
I like that it’s short and to the point
Airborne All THE WAY!
Should'nt that be Airbourne ALL THE WAY DOWN? :)
Also some British berets have lining so its important to cut out the inside liner and hot water helps the shape
Well done
Thanks you for this tutorial !
Thank you sir
Bringing back a lot of memories from Benning, Bragg and JBER.
Reenactor of 82nd Airborne, 2/505th. Thanks, very helpful especially from an actual paratrooper.
Good one
All the way!
my husband is ex-South African national defense force and his beret still holds its shape
Best way how to do
Something you never forget, especially when you get your wings! Qual'd in 1995! AIRBORNE!
Depending on regiment or corps Brit berets get shrunk by plunging between hot n cold water repeatedly then drying and shaping until the flap does not cover the top of the ear (it stops just at the top of the ear), Then remove plastic lining (some remove the fabric inner liner as well) and sew the flap down. Often a plastic stiffener is fitted inside the beret to support the cap badge. Great to see how our American cousins do it.
Hey sir we are completely surrounded by legs . No problem son we are AIRBORNE😊😊
Did the air borne just say be careful with a flame ahaha America 🏴
Donald Duck style
Not nuff stank see too much right eye redo
Why are American berets massive
@@SecPro1984 that makes no sense
‘Merica!! 🇺🇸🦅 That’s why…
@@anfo7387 it looks absolutely awful
no deployment patch detected, opinion rejected.
jk... (; AATW
Why a man which descendes as a part of landing party is known as "paratrooper"(why it is a short from parachute trooper), and why the beret is a maroone coloured? Only you spill blood? I thought people, bravada of which is sky associated must have sky-associated colour, but no. Weird.
The Maroon colour was chosen by British army in WW2 for its airborne divisions then copied by everyone else. Just as the US special forces copied the Green Beret from UK Commandos of WW2.
@@andrewcombe8907 That is correct, I do know that. I simply ask what was the logic beihind it in the first hand?
@@andrewcombe8907allegedly Paratroopers earned the Maroon beret after saving British Paras
Major General Frederick Brownings wife Daphne du Maurier picked the colour Maroon and it was first worn in November 1942 by the British Parachute Regiment during the North Africa campaign......... ; ) "Wahai Mohammed"
@@ScoopDogg I understand the historical logic, but not the moment logic. Why he decided to selected this colour?
Female paratroopers.........not.
Im sorry but the American way of styling and wearing the beret is cringe.
British way is superior
Show us
You guys have tiny berets
Cope
Nothing about Britain is superior. 1-0 bozo
Naaa each nation does things their own way, respect to all western forces, The Brits and FFL wear the berets the coolest and sexiest though.
