I believe he was a replacement fighter for someone, but more importantly, MVP said he couldn't move normally due to whatever was being used to clean the canvas after each fight because of the pandemic, and had to completely change the way he fought to a more conservative approach. And you could see him slipping due to his quickness, even when he was in positions with a lower center of gravity. It wasn't a very good fight. It was a conservative effort, and he barely squeaked out that decision as a result.
It was also said during covid the mat was doused with more Vaseline than normal, it’s actually proven in one of his fights. Bella for was really out to make him lose
