Technically my deceased friend had an theory where those 3 based on his theory noting some irregularities in that dimension such as the unusual parkour training that fire nation schools had noted and other things such as the earth king having an North American brown bear , that he suspected that there’s an semi-inactive dimensional portal that over time has played an form of hopscotch style shifts in that dimension, where he said during this incident, it could create the conditions for dimensional duplication via the inactive dimensional portal and the combination of the failed lighting attack and the chi-blocking causing those 3 to not only be duplicated genetically but dropped from one dimension to another via the inactive portal being activated and creating an copying effect where those 3 end up at one point being duplicated and thus stuck in one dimension while their counterparts also exist in their own dimension, which is where he had 20pages of complex mathematical calculations before he died that would explain the hows and whys on how it could occur in an 1 in 1 million odds via time/ space mechanics…just thought to note this theory concept ( though they’d unfortunately wake up having aged to match the time difference between 2008 to now)…?!?!? In short they’d based on this theory wake up with their physical appearance aged 15 years older than when this incident occurred in theory… Secondly they’d have to be standing directly under the inactive dimensional portal during the failed lighting attack where the inactive dimensional portal is activated by the resulting chi blocking attack where the energy is grounded into the inactive dimensional portal causing an action similar to the idea of the shodingers cat theory as found in basic time space mechanics explained in basic science where all 3 individuals are stuck in two dimensions via biological duplication and reality causing two variations of them to exist in both dimensions at the same time…don’t ask me how I just know that theories basic explanation he noted as the easiest explanation of that possibility in theroy….
Also by being aged 15years physically in that theory they’d wake up in an 25-30 year old version of their physical forms after being dimensionally duplicated and teleported to simply the earlier noted irony…!? ( note: also Azula would still have her bending in this scenario and Mai and Ty-Lee would still have their own abilities, memories up to the point of dimensional duplication and or mental capacities as well from the exact moment of the dimensional incident occurring…) Also there would be an version of them that was duplicated by the dimensional event , while there also be the version of them at the same time in their own dimension that everything after that precise moment would still occur …puzzling huh, well that’s why he said both versions would up to an citrian point would have the same memories, skills emotions and mental capacities while the duplicated versions of them would be aged 15 years older than the other version of them who for them the incident wouldn’t have occurred…
This effect as I said is similar to the concept of the basic science time/ space mechanics known as an varient of the schrodingers cat theroy as I mentioned in this posting on this theory earlier but thought I'd mention it again because I didn't see it listed in my earlier posting on this theory... ( if you don't know that theroy it's found via Google search, and in this variant it's where the results cause there to be an version of them in 2 dimensions of reality where they're the same as normal but its like copying all three of them into there being an azula , mai and Ty-lee existing in two universes at the same time but different from the original ones....
