Fantastic victory, and well deserved we were completely blown away. The utmost credit to the Boks but a tempered over enthusiasm I think is due.
Libbok's kicking coach at the Stormers called him and said to him to change his kicking angle from 45° to 90°.
I think because we didn’t have Willie le roux shouting at the referee and calling him a P..s helped get him on our side.
Was thinking that
Can't agree more he really needs to shut up and let the captain handle it 😅 Siya is very good with ref.
😂😂😂
😂😂😂😂 oh my goodness. Well then, some1 needs to watch Willie LeRoux then wherever its his turn to play..ai ai ai 😂
What a comment to make, wow you have adapted well into the rainbow nation mentality. Bachwards like a wog.
I'm a huge Boks Fan! And also celebrated this result. 🥳
But it could be very very dangerous to overestimate this victory! Stay focused - or it could end in disappointment against Scotland and especially Ireland! Please stay humble and thankful!
iF you beat ireland (which i hope boks do) will see you in the finals.
Definitely correct on that call. Well deserved victory for a confluence of reasons which may not converge in the same way for another 50 years but, then again, might recur in the next few weeks. SA look great right now but prior to this game so did the AB's. Here's hoping most games in the RWC don't all last 107 minutes!
Totally agree ❤🇿🇦. Enjoy the win... Stay humble. There's power in humility
I don't believe for one moment that either the Boks or their supporters believe they already have won the world cup. That is a statement only made by haters of the Boks. However, celebrating a good win is nothing to be ashamed about.
Yep, we don't take anything for granted. This is a victory to be celebrated. Fantastic boys!
I haven't seen any yet but I know there out there lol but thats not every bok supporter or even a majority . But I know there will be a few bok supporters out there who are dillusional as and will be louder than the sane bok supporters. I know because I've come across them before and you don't just change that over night lol
@@roblox-genius96themuscleki12 It all comes down to humility imo. Its fine to be overenthusiastic and bet on your team winning and come up with all kinds of reasons as to why they will. As long as you can add some humility into the mix and recognise that any team can have a bad day at the box office, Springboks included.
And with humility we beat em on the final to gain our fourth world cup.
Well yur statement did not age well at all😂😂😂😂
Siya might not be the world's best flanker ever, probably the MOST influential Springbok captain ever. His captaincy is not only ON the field, but OFF the field he means so much for his Country...
We have to agree whole heartedly with you here
Still plenty to work on. Primarily converting when we're in the money zone. Either way it's good to have a convincing win from the Boks, and I'd say fans are far more confident when things come together
Against another team we will take 3 each time. Its not too much of a problem
You guys put 28 on us, I remember when we put 50 on the Spring Bok's not too long ago
Apparently, all Libbok needed to sort out his kicking was a call from his Stormers kicking coach. His angle of attack with respect to the kicking tee was wrong and needed to be tweaked. A phone call and a few jpegs later it was all sorted
Exactly. This is the news we also heard. Gareth Wright from the Stormers gave him a call during the week and they tweaked his set up to the ball. Such a simple fix
Compared to his last game he became a completely different man.
Great analysis, thank you for backing this victory up with facts about a solid springbok game plan🙏👌
It doean't mean anything in the context of the World Cup games the Boks have to get through to lift the trophy again, but hopefully it will inspire them to be at this level for everu game they play. Go Bokke ❤
Great video, and great cover of the game and Bokke!!
Thank you! Glad you liked it
good analysis... and good luck for gathering subscribers!
Can't count your chickens regarding any team in the RWC... you can be on top one game & on the bottom the next... which is why a RWC is so exciting! Love our Bokke! Respect to all the other teams & players in the 2023 RWC xx
Very well said! This years’ RWC will be one of the most exciting yet!
What a performance.
Great analysis of the game!!! Looking forward to future videos.
Glad you enjoyed it and thank you!
First time I've come across this channel. Great video. Congratulations. Very enjoyable.
Thank you. Glad you liked it 🙏
The Wc is in 2 weeks thank goodness. Huge victory Boks, incredible - in the end I enjoyed watching them (never done that as an ABs fan for any team). We need Taylor, Frizzell, Retallic back soon. and fingers crossed for the injury to lomax.
Definitely hugely impactful players. Frizzell was a standout player at this years’ super rugby competition. Deserves to be there!
@@RugbyNow_ Frizell is also an impact player at night clubs... the other national sport of SOME New Zealanders.
@@Karma-qt4ji ok, thanks. You want to go there? being from a place with a history of SA? My comment was respectful.
@@nzfreeski you are right of course, and I can see and respect why you would think it was a cheap shot. I assure you, that was never my intention.
Sports people from my country all those years ago were prevented from competing due to the regulations of the not-so-democratic government, something we currently see for Russian sports people and so be it. But you currently have in your team and periphery, at least two players who have *personally* either been convicted of or confessed to assaulting women, to add to a list of past players with similar records.
With my countries chequered past, it is not for me to tell your country how to do things, but as the father of a young woman, I feel it is within my rights to say, "hey, that's not cool!".
My comment was not respectful to you and most of your countrymen and for that I apologise. But with zero political agenda whatsoever, I would like to see New Zealanders say no, we don't want these people in our team.
I hope you can understand that.
@@nzfreeski
Oh no he didn't. 😂😂😂
Massive change… we’re not kicking all our possession away. We need to play Esterhuisen and Moody midfield. Somehow I know we are going to be forced to watch DDA and Kriel
😂💦
Great Video and Analysis, Thank You.
Appreciate the comment. Thanks for watching 🙏
Weird. The world cup hasn't even started yet and it would appear that from the result of one game, the Boks fly home with the cup. Done. WHAT?
I like your confidence, like a child touching an electric fence.
🤣🤣
I’m South African and I agree with your statement! We did this same bragging nonsense last year. When we beat the ABs in NELSPRUIT the whole week the SA fans were predicting a superb win in Ellis Park. Then the so called worst ABs team in history goes and beats the so called WC Champions on SA Soil. What I’ve learnt is the ABs set us SA fans up for a false sense of an EGO BOOST just before they give us a hiding!!! So 15 minutes into Fridays game I knew the ABs weren’t there to WIN.
Ja ds waar boks ht nogie eers d Cap gewen nie maar allblacks word sleggese oral daar wag n Grooooot surprise f everyone ❤
We boks fan's not like u AB's fan's remember that guy that tattooed the Webb Ellis trophy on him and than u loose lol that's u guys
The highest margin the Springboks scored against the All Blacks is 46 and the All Black's record score against them is a 57-0 thrashing at Albany in 2017. These teams have played 105 Tests from 1921 to 2023 including Twickenham and the Springboks won 39 while the All Blacks won 62 with 4 draws. From these games the Springboks scored a total of 1728 points and the All Blacks 2185. The All Blacks scored a record 457 extra points against their foe which is equivalent to 65 converted tries. This is another record in itself but point counting is not my point here if you get my point, excuse the pun. The point is enjoying the game and the beer with the opposing team after the game. Cheers!!!
Nobody cares... ;)
Hard to think that Kwagga used to be a sevens player. He plays like someone who has forever built himself up as a forward. That man's last try of the game was sublime.
He has an incredible work ethic. Never let’s the first tackler put him down. Keeps the leg drive going
Esterhuizen & Moodie should be good for future Springbok selection post 2023 RWC.
Sept 2017 All Blacks 57, South Africa 0. After boasting they were going to utterly DESTROY the All Blacks 🤔
Our fans boasting....Never the Boks.
And a few months later who were crowned WORLD CHAMPIONS ? The Team who lost 57-0 to you and a week later 38-3 to Ireland.
Thank you. Great insight
Appreciate it 👍🏻
Can’t believe a WC warm up match is holding such significance while AB’s win most competitive matches against all. Meanwhile Fiji 🇫🇯 beats England in a WC warm up!
Fiji were incredible at Twickenham 👌🏻👌🏻
Excellent analysis Jeff Wilson should learn from you
Who?
Libok looked like he wasn't going to miss, the narrator says as he just about shaved the right hand upright and after he came within a whisker of missing a kick right in front of the poles. The cynic would say that the biggest blow to the All Blacks was the realisation that the ref was actually going to police the lineouts. They must have thought they could do anything they wanted at lineout time after the last match..
Nice video
Appreciate it 👍🏻
Am I the only dinosaur who wants to see 15 versus 15? Sanction the offender and send him off BUT FFS please keep the contest fair. By the way... I am a White African who supports the Boks but rugby is bigger than any team, player or official
To be fair, this level of penalties against NZ would have been IMPOSSIBLE with Paddy O'Brien or Joel Jutge as Head of Refs. NZ again revealing their game plan is based on refs
Whether Alain Rolland can keep up this nature of reffing into the RWC 2023 is not yet clear
The team benefits from cynical fouls, so of course the team should be penalised, not just the player. You will get a lot more blatant fouling in the red zone without the sin bin.
A fair contest means the players behaving within that fairness as well. If they transgress to gain an advantage then I'm sorry, bye bye, later aligator.
All i can say is i frigging hope the bunker doesn't ruin what could be an amazing game played at rugby world cup and reduce it to cricket
The injury of Franco Mostert, RG Snyman, Jean Kleyn and Salman Moerat has opened a can of worms in the second row Dept which must be closed as soon as possible.
Three yellows ... one was upgraded to a red ... it does not delete the card. The ABs were Magnificent on defense, and most pundits miss that, but their reliance on a riposte assault from depth was completely suffocated by the rush defense in close to the AB 22 - no space to get past the defense by running the ball deep behind the advantage line. Also noticed that there was MUCH less box-kicking .... and more kicking for touch. (Don't put it in the air if you can't contest it deep in their half) And don't discount Libbok's game, pinpoint touch finders, 100% off the tee, sublime at 10 ... The ABs have a problem with their discipline, not something they can fix overnight. I don't know if the Boks are going to win this one, but I am certain the ABs will not.
Some great points. Thanks for posting 👍🏻
It's the all black. I won't rely on these pre world cup. Come on. It's the ALL BLACKS... they know what's at stake here.
How many times have the AB's put 50 on the Boks? 57 -0 in 2017.
Just take the loss... Talking about things from 6years ago... 6 years.. grow the funk up
Different era mate. All teams go through a dip and that was probably the worst Bok performance ever, just like the AB's had a down game here. The fact that the AB's biggest loss was only by 28 points though just shows how good they have always been and overall they have always been better than the Boks and basically every other team in the world. Not in this game though...
And who won the World Cup???😂
Alot of footage from a different game used here, detracts from the video
Highest Quality rugby world cup from boks
Wh] is nobody commenting on the fact that in the first have sa refused to kick for goal but had the mentality of we will crush these okes.
Now the abs are spinning the 14 man excuse
Bring it on
oh u missed the 13 men also
Maybe it was food poisoning.
@@samjones6191 No he's got a point. We kept the pressure on and that created the reduction to 13 players. If we had kicked for goal, the counter would have been reset and we would only have been back there a few minutes later - by keeping them pinned in that corner, we forced repeated infringements in a short space of time and I believe that was the plan.
@@Karma-qt4ji exactly
Point was to right from the start show them who's boss
The Argentina match had me tearing my hair out with so many missed opportunities for 5 yard lineouts. Captain seemed to prefer having Libbok miss kicks.
The Spring Boks should have saved their best performance for the world cup. I'm convinced that they've reached their peak and the AB'S had nothing to play for but I don't think they expected to get thrashed like that. Congratulations to the Boks this was probably their best win ever
Absolute annihilation,in 3rd gear and left 20-30 points on the field .
Watch out when the Boks click in 5th gear.
They will fuck every team up.
This was a friendly ….
You are correct, It absolutely was but you can be assured either side wouldn’t have seen it that way
I'd love to see Kwagga play at 13 ...
I'm still laughing 🤣😆😆, that was a true hiding
@@Pietie811 there's nothing to justify just how badly the All Blacks played..... Awful game for NZ. Bokke were deservedly victorious. Congratulations 🎉 Boks
@@Pietie811 this game was a warm up, I expect All Blacks to be a their very best for world cup, they always put up a good fight 💪
Better get better against stronger teams, keep up that mighty All Blacks name 💪💪
The South Africans just brought the AB crashing back to earth ...
Willie must not doing this he must get out off the world cup if he doing this agen
so they beat the abs and it's world news lol
This was 11 months ago.......watchout Bokke.
🤍🖤 Gotta Win Both🤍🖤
Willie who?
ABs and Boks in WRC semis......will be interesting to see
Not possible. They can only meet in a final due to the way the draw works.
The mean green machine is back!
Its almost as though the match didnt matter to nz they already have every trophey they competed for this season except 1 still to get. And this was the first loss this season, to a team they already beat when it mattered.
21 penalties says it's not about not caring, it's about panic under pressure.
AB's lack of composure says differently.
SA 3/7
Ab 3/9
End of.
Scot Barrett's will not face any ban unless the committee decides that he second yellow card met the threshhold for a red card offence. Bunker seemed okay that it didn't and I think that will stand.
You raise a good point. Committee should announce their conclusions on Tuesday
@@RugbyNow_ Confirmed - free to play.
357 magnum
Nothing won on friendlies only complacency.
Not the biggest win over all blacks. Bok beat them with 70 points pre 94 game
Pressure caused the ill-discipline
It looked to be the case, didn’t it
The final result does not truly reflect the difference in the team's. The AB main issue was getting penalized for the same errors and not adjusting to the ref. The springbok attack was rather predictable and blunt most of the time. There also seem to be an unwillingness or inability to work through phases. Still alot missing in the bok game
get real it was 13 vs 15 then 14 vs 15 rest of game
Who's fault is it?
@@Christian_1980 That depends. If you ask Jeff Wilson.......
If the ABs just continued to absorb the pressure without cheating or repeatedly transgressing, more tries probably would of been scored. It's less costly to gain advantage by giving away penalties, especially with them knowing we don't don't have a reliable kicker. It backfired because we didnt need to kick for posts. They were good enough to score tries and kept up the pressure. Use that tactic enough times when you have been warned over and over and you will lose a player. Not SAs fault NZ did not listen to all the warnings from the Ref. Suck it up
@@4Q_4Q2 well on that note, their first mistake would have been assuming we don't have a reliable goal kicker. Any 10 who kicks 5 from 5, doesn't miss touch once and drills every penalty right into the corner would be considered pretty reliable. You forget that despite his problems in the last 2 weeks, Manie has a better domestic ratio than Pollard. According to the Super Sport panel, Gareth Wright was on the phone to him during the week and his advice seems to have paid dividends.
If the ABs are going to infringe on the rules, with so many warnings. (4 before warnings before the yellow) They going to play every game with 14 or 13 players. The Boks played France last year for the whole game with 14 men and score was 30 = 26. France was relieved that game ended when Du Pont got a yellow in the last few minutes of the game.
Love it boks bashed them and their sore losers
Will the RWC be implementing steroid or other enhancing checks? Of course no one wants a drug scandal, but most sports end up with someone somewhere using steroids.
Refs need to check those boots for sharpened sprigs
Lomax slid into Willemse’s boot in a ruck … nothing malicious in that. But I agree - boot checking wouldn’t be amiss.
@@Jennyhw I think they do still check boots. Also, with 400 cameras on you at all times, you are not going to be the one who wants to get caught with intentionally dangerous boot alterations and they will catch you. Don't know of anyone who will sacrifice a career for the chance of causing an injury to an opposition player.
The AB's must cme rigth because thy can't suffer frm shocking
The Boks won this game because the Kiwis could get away with their usual cynical play close to their goal line.
Congratulations to the South Africans they are awesome! Everyone done with the All black cheats and the rediculous haka
Every team cheats u sad case.ab's neva lost a test ova 50 points.lol.hav the boks.🤔🤣🤣.ur team awsum against a team with 14 men for 42min.🤣🤣 wow wat an achievement.
and the rest of the world are fed up with South African anti social societies , 5 million aid cases, horrendous murder rates horrendous corruption and the nerve to preach to the rest of the world as if they are something special. Not to mention their trading with Russia showing total disrespect for world peace. All Black cheats ? Who cannot handle the 62-39 AB domination .
Why is it that NZ is the only tier one country from the beginning of test rugby, that do the haka?? It's got me stumped, and we still do it today proudly
