Well deserved victory for a confluence of reasons which may not converge in the same way for another 50 years but, then again, might recur in the next few weeks. @@nzfreeski you are right of course, and I can see and respect why you would think it was a cheap shot. I assure you, that was never my intention.
      Sports people from my country all those years ago were prevented from competing due to the regulations of the not-so-democratic government, something we currently see for Russian sports people and so be it. But you currently have in your team and periphery, at least two players who have *personally* either been convicted of or confessed to assaulting women, to add to a list of past players with similar records.
      With my countries chequered past, it is not for me to tell your country how to do things, but as the father of a young woman, I feel it is within my rights to say, "hey, that's not cool!".
      My comment was not respectful to you and most of your countrymen and for that I apologise. But with zero political agenda whatsoever, I would like to see New Zealanders say no, we don't want these people in our team.

When we beat the ABs in NELSPRUIT the whole week the SA fans were predicting a superb win in Ellis Park. Then the so called worst ABs team in history goes and beats the so called WC Champions on SA Soil. What I’ve learnt is the ABs set us SA fans up for a false sense of an EGO BOOST just before they give us a hiding!!! So 15 minutes into Fridays game I knew the ABs weren’t there to WIN.

    The highest margin the Springboks scored against the All Blacks is 46 and the All Black's record score against them is a 57-0 thrashing at Albany in 2017. These teams have played 105 Tests from 1921 to 2023 including Twickenham and the Springboks won 39 while the All Blacks won 62 with 4 draws. From these games the Springboks scored a total of 1728 points and the All Blacks 2185. The All Blacks scored a record 457 extra points against their foe which is equivalent to 65 converted tries. This is another record in itself but point counting is not my point here if you get my point, excuse the pun. The point is enjoying the game and the beer with the opposing team after the game. Cheers!!!

    Libok looked like he wasn't going to miss, the narrator says as he just about shaved the right hand upright and after he came within a whisker of missing a kick right in front of the poles. The cynic would say that the biggest blow to the All Blacks was the realisation that the ref was actually going to police the lineouts. They must have thought they could do anything they wanted at lineout time after the last match..

    Three yellows ... one was upgraded to a red ... it does not delete the card. The ABs were Magnificent on defense, and most pundits miss that, but their reliance on a riposte assault from depth was completely suffocated by the rush defense in close to the AB 22 - no space to get past the defense by running the ball deep behind the advantage line. Also noticed that there was MUCH less box-kicking .... and more kicking for touch. (Don't put it in the air if you can't contest it deep in their half) And don't discount Libbok's game, pinpoint touch finders, 100% off the tee, sublime at 10 ... The ABs have a problem with their discipline, not something they can fix overnight. I don't know if the Boks are going to win this one, but I am certain the ABs will not.

    Scot Barrett's will not face any ban unless the committee decides that he second yellow card met the threshhold for a red card offence. Bunker seemed okay that it didn't and I think that will stand.

    The final result does not truly reflect the difference in the team's. The AB main issue was getting penalized for the same errors and not adjusting to the ref. The springbok attack was rather predictable and blunt most of the time. There also seem to be an unwillingness or inability to work through phases. Still alot missing in the bok game

      If the ABs just continued to absorb the pressure without cheating or repeatedly transgressing, more tries probably would of been scored. It's less costly to gain advantage by giving away penalties, especially with them knowing we don't don't have a reliable kicker. It backfired because we didnt need to kick for posts. They were good enough to score tries and kept up the pressure. Use that tactic enough times when you have been warned over and over and you will lose a player. Not SAs fault NZ did not listen to all the warnings from the Ref. Suck it up

    • @Karma-qt4ji
      @Karma-qt4ji Год назад

      @@4Q_4Q2 well on that note, their first mistake would have been assuming we don't have a reliable goal kicker. Any 10 who kicks 5 from 5, doesn't miss touch once and drills every penalty right into the corner would be considered pretty reliable. You forget that despite his problems in the last 2 weeks, Manie has a better domestic ratio than Pollard. According to the Super Sport panel, Gareth Wright was on the phone to him during the week and his advice seems to have paid dividends.

      If the ABs are going to infringe on the rules, with so many warnings. (4 before warnings before the yellow) They going to play every game with 14 or 13 players. The Boks played France last year for the whole game with 14 men and score was 30 = 26. France was relieved that game ended when Du Pont got a yellow in the last few minutes of the game.

      Lomax slid into Willemse’s boot in a ruck … nothing malicious in that. But I agree - boot checking wouldn’t be amiss.

      @@Jennyhw I think they do still check boots. Also, with 400 cameras on you at all times, you are not going to be the one who wants to get caught with intentionally dangerous boot alterations and they will catch you. Don't know of anyone who will sacrifice a career for the chance of causing an injury to an opposition player.
