Hi Rach, I saw you peeling sausages to make your sausage rolls. (Maybe they were vegetarian sausages or you were just using what you had on hand). So, not sure if you know but you can buy sausage mince as an item. It’s exactly the same as the contents of the barbecue sausages you buy at Coles or Woolies but without the casing, it just comes in a big sausage shape. This might save you some time in future. 😊
I miss the drive in's! I used to go to the lunar drive in heaps but they closed in July last year. My nearest one is the dromana one but its a 40 minute drive and the freeway to get there is very poorly lit :(
We use to love taking our little ones to the movies I agree it's such a great price for as many as you can fit into the car we would often do the double session so driving home at midnight that was a late night!
good morning family.....looks like Elliott had a good time at the birthday party.....looks like the kids had great time at the drive-in.....we used to have a couple of drive-ins way back when....now its only movie theatres which are all bunched in to one building.....till next time....stay safe and warm.....ps one of the theatres we go to is in a different city....not far from us and they have recliner seats which is really awesome...except get too comfortable in them and you can fall asleep

I’m jealous!! All of our drive-inn’s has closed down in Adelaide 😢 my first ever drive-in movie was “Matilda” back when I was younger!!

When i lived in Melbourne i used to love the Coburg drive in. Especially the Sunday Market they have there. 🥰
I love the Drive In movies! Here in Adelaide we no longer have any. Our last one closed in 2022 after being open for over 65 years. 😢
My life hack......frozen diced onion...so handy to just add to cooking when you don’t need a whole big onion and no more..oh I don’t have an onion!

I remember the days of going to the drive in. We have 1 nearby, so we should really try to visit it sometime soon.
