Today I’m flying on both First Class and Business Class onboard Etihad’s 787 Dreamliner. Not seen before on RUclips, one person reviewing both products on the same flight! This should be an interesting one.
I’m flying for 15 hours from Abu Dhabi international airport over to New York City in the USA. Etihad recently announced their intention to discontinue their A380 and 777 which leaves just the 787 with their First Class product.

Nope, who the hell keeps needing to fly to the gulf states or on gulf carriers so much, not realistic
For someone who lives in Abu Dhabi (sadly never have flow BC) I can confirm the lounge is always slightly busy but very nice! If your gold you can get in the lounge and bring 2 extra.

I like very much that you really love to fly and you don’t “diss” the airlines you fly (unless it’s absolutely necessary). I have noticed that other channels do that, and it makes you a big step above the others. God bless. Hope to see you in the sky one day.

Great review! You said you didnt have On-demand meal services in business class in this flight. I find that strange, I flew the same flight from Abu Dhabi to New York in December 31st 2020 and I clearly remember the on-demand meal service, and you could order how many ever you want. It could be a cost cut

Recently did the route to ORD in their two-class config. Looks like quite the improvement over the economy seat, but at least they’re still not be dry full... Some day!

NASA shirts for the win!!! Your vids makes me miss flying internationally. Usually on an international flight three times a month for my job but due to the pandemic....only can fly domestically.

Great to see an Etihad review it’s been a while, love both first and business but first apartments £30,OOO I don’t know if it’s worth that much. Great products though and I love the etihad livery especially on the Dreamliner 😻. I mean Abu Dhabi to JFK got to be business right? On those long haul routes business needs to be spot on 👍 Great vlog as always 👏 👍
Yeah agreed that Dreamliner livery is stunning! And sadly I think this will be the only aircraft they’ll be flying their First Class in moving forwards as the A380 is apparently retiring from their fleet, as is their 777. Thanks so much for watching mate

Etihad used to have dine on demand in business right before pandemic at least? I travelled march 2020 and they had it in business class. Is this not the case due to the pandemic or the general cost cuts they have been doing?

What is your favourite business class? I’ve only been emirates but I think it’s going to be hard to beat!
My favourite is Qatar's QSuite business class. All long haul business flights offer dine on demand dining, white company pyjamas and an amenity kit. You can also pick up a ticket at a reasonable price too. I'd highly recommend it
Are they supposed to open the lip of caviar before they serve?
The tenderloin looks good, but Korean Air First Class served the best steak in the air. A perfect medium rare Ribeye. It was three years ago, but no other steak that came close. Unfortunately Chase miles no longer transfer to Korean Air so I will never get to try it again. Great review. Unfortunately we will never see the Etihad Apartments again.
Dine on demand was available the last time we flew Etihad business class. 2 and a half years ago

This says more about etihad airways. They are proud to show what they have and rightly so.. Good review but Etihad did their share by having a great product. We are in the Philippines and are saving up for a once in a lifetime trip to Rome going business class once this pandemic is over so next year or the year after my wife will try to fly with them to Rome.
Actually Air Canada offers dine on demand as part of its impeccable Business Class Service.
Nice review. Great to be able to test both products on such long journeys! Shame that they’ve still not opened up the lounges properly - wonder how long it’ll be before they get the whole service offering back to pre-pandemic levels!

It does seem strange as I too had seen it was offered previously. I can only guess it's down to the pandemic and hopefully only a temporary measure.

How did you use your Amex points on Aeroplan? They are not transfer partners in the U.K.
It’s feasible to get a US Amex as a UK citizen 😉 also you can buy the Aeroplan miles cheaper in sales with Air Canada

Save the money: Fly economy and sink that money saved into upgrading to a suite at your favorite Hotel. I rather sacrifice hours inside an airplane if it meant that I could spend days in a much nicer hotel room.
Or spend the same price as economy on a business or first class ticket and have both. It’s all about booking in the right way 🤫

A mix of things, RUclips / IG / FB is part of it, I also run a travel business. But the key is savvy booking, like this trip across both First and Business was just under $2,000

why not review flights that most of the people can afford w/out saving for the last 10 years or going deeply in debt to go on? I feel like I'm watching a mix between life styles of the rich and famous and a food critic channel.

The excess of first class has now just become obscene and disgusting. No wonder airlines are going to drop the first class suites. So much CO2 and the excess of this when so many people are not even able to work during COVID. Thumbs down.
1) this is my job, and how I make a living and supports many other jobs / livelihoods
2) First class is not being dropped by airlines, some are actually installing more

Given the circumstance of millions of people locked down, unable to leave for fear of their lives, barely able to get to work, asking for government handouts.
