I had the schwinn chopper when I was a kid I’m 27 now , and my buddy had the Jesse James chopper bike. I tore my chopper down and re built it re painted it put some huge ape hangers on it. That was grade 8... I recently just rebuilt a yz85 , got to start somewhere !

Do the weldings hold up trying to suppose those heavy motors? Because I was looking for info on the frame material and I’m afraid it might not hold up even with a 100cc engine

I know the Schwinn's are going for around 400. This Huffy version online I've seen on eBay for 500- 1200 but I just picked one up locally from an older fellow for 200 flat... then noticed it was the thinner tire was a bit sad about that then did research to find out its rare NICE:) win win I guess

My brothers got one in the basement, he’s going to let me put a motor in it. I seen an old episode of WCC where they did the same thing, I’ve been looking for that episode but can’t find it. If anyone knows what the episode is called let me know.
chrome with a flat black tank means it came from kmart or target. maybe even shopko. I assembled every one of these that were sold at the local walmart, and bought one of the first three. I rarely rode it, because it was horribly uncomfortable. also because they used a really soft and cheap material for the rear hub. I did warranty claims on most of them and after about the 30th one or so I asked the parts guy at Huffy if they were ever going to do a recall on those. he didn't know, but agreed that they sure went through rear wheels. some of them had the spoke flange come off the hub entirely.

So I take it that this one was sold already ages ago? Been looking everywhere for a chrome bike but honestly I can't find anything but red ones here in Canada. And I imagine that a museum piece in mint condition is out of reach budget wise. I got a red one in great condition for $75 Canadian off à local guy I found on Kijiji. Missing the chain guard and sadly, both 44 Magnum decals. But what I really want is a chrome bike or black. Red is kinda boring IMO. Might repaint it myself. Was thinking purple frame with baby blue handlebars seat post, fender. Etc. But If anyone has a line on an affordable chrome please lemme know. I'm not working atm but I can still come up with a few hundred if the right opportunity comes up. Cheers everyone

Walmart sold millions i seen so many like any cheap bike left for the garbage man, at the dump i wish id grabbed them all. my local recycling center county dump ive grabbed a lot of cool good stuff. But i need another minivan. Had tinted back side windows. pull up sideways bring something to toss and start grabbing the goods. Worker couldn't see though dark glass. Is it wrong? Yeah but ive dropped off a lot of metal so just taking some back.

He's leaving out the really cool part. How easy it is to put a dirtbike or ATV motor on these. The lowered frame is practically built for it.

I've located a identical bike CFL and not sure on what size chain it requires. I just know it needs a long chain

Got mine new at walmart with matte black tank so mine is super rare. With the jesse iron cross peddles
