    This is fantastic. Exactly what I was looking for - and presented very clearly. (I also love that 3 years in and I am still learning so many new things about the Typhon. What a beast).

      Excellent! Very glad it helped. I think for the money, it's still one of the best, small factor monosynths out there. My ONLY complaint is I wish it had a normal power supply.

    This video pushed me over the edge to buy one, thanks for explaining. Will work really well with the Digitakt. I can program sequences from the digitakt, then program the transpose in the digitakt patterns.. very cool

      Cool...glad to hear it was informative, and I'll say once again, it's a seriously great sounding and versatile synth, especially for the price...

      Bedankt Marc...totally apart from the sequencer, I'm REALLY liking this synth. Between the distortion effects and the filter, you can get some great, aggressive tones!

    If you havent already, try a Schlenkerla Märzen. Its a smoky beer with "hints" of bacon.

      Oh yeah! I've had it. And coincidentally I just bought some more last weekend. In fact it was the "featured" beer on one of my videos, although I'm not sure if it was the Märzen or not...I do like the Rauchbiers.

    Can I ask about using T’s sequencer and step mod when clocking from an ipad sequencer? It’s not working as I’d expect! I can sequence notes and CC from the iPad but only by losing a load of valuable onboard functionality.
    When I set master clock to “external” and modulator synch to BPM:
    * the onboard sequencer won’t run, neither independently nor when the external sequencer (Korg Gadget, iOS) is running.
    * the step modulator won’t run.
    Behaving as it does, the only option I can think of is to use Typhon as the master clock. That would be not convenient at all!
    Many thanks if you can advise!

      Sorry...have NO experience synching the Tyophon sequencer to an external clock. If you get an answer, please post it here, just so it might help some other folks. Good luck and cheers!

    Hi! Thanks for the video, i’m waitting for mine exemplar and in the meantime learning about it. I have one question please, on a performance view, is it possible to alternate between the sequence and keyboard live playing? Withou stopping the sequence but muttin it, and at the same not mutting the keyboard. Hope you unserstand :), thanks again. Cheers!

    • @ProckGnosis
      @ProckGnosis  2 года назад +1

      Hey Carlos...sorry for the slow reply. I'm just seeing this. IF I understand what you're asking, I don't think it would be possible, because there's no way to "mute" the sequencer other than to turn down the volume (which would affect ANY sound from the Typhon) or stop the sequencer. The reason this can't easily be done is both the sequencer and the keyboard control the same synth engine. Again, I think the only way to "mute" the sequencer is to stop it from playing.
      Hope that helps...

  • @christianessa1926
    @christianessa1926 3 года назад

    Hey quick question it might be mentioned in the video and I may have missed it, but is there anyway to clear the sequence completely in the first place? It seems some of the presets have their own pattern built in and I’m unsure how to get rid of this

    • @ProckGnosis
      @ProckGnosis  3 года назад

      Couldn't find a way in the manual to "zero out" the sequence (so to say), but as you can easily record over it, there's not really a need to delete an existing sequence. You just overwrite it.
      Unless you're experiencing some other issue with having a sequence stored with a patch, I just mostly ignore the sequences, and just play them when I want them.
