Nice review. If you enjoyed the combat (after bg2), I highly recommend Sword Coast Stratagems mod for AI enhancement. It completely changes the gameplay, especially against mages

I actually beat a few months ago with the intent to review it, but got side tracked with the idea of doing an edited lets play, but I haven't had the time to flesh it out yet I haven't even finished throne of bhaal yet haha. I think a BG2 replay and proper review will be on the cards one day. I don't like having a review for 1 and 3. Feels like I'm missing an episode
Thanks Vindex! I didn't mention it in the review, but it's almost soulsy in the way you can take different party configs and try new ways through the game. I'm currently sweeping my way through chapter 2 in BG2 and am having a blast
haha yeah tbh though I thought my friend who said to get "at least 90" was fucking with me and was just laughing at the idea of me hitting roll for 45 minutes. Nope, he was deadly serious xD

Great review! This game has been one of my favorite RPGs despite its age (I'm 20 so that game is like a decade older than ME).
