    Is there any possibility to assign a Qualification template based on the chosen commodity ? if we have three templates for qualification process and can we can automatically choose a required template after VW specialist chose a commodity to qualify a supplier.

    • @zarantechdotcom
      @zarantechdotcom  5 месяцев назад

      Yes, in SAP Ariba, it's possible to assign a qualification template based on the chosen commodity. By configuring rules in the Supplier Qualification module, you can automatically select the appropriate qualification template when a VW specialist chooses a specific commodity. This ensures that the correct qualification process is applied, streamlining supplier onboarding and management.
      We'll dive deeper into this topic during our live SAP Ariba training session. Don't forget to join us!

    Hi where we can set the expiration date in supplier qualification in Ariba... I wanna see the email notifications... That qualification is about to expire...
    Before 30 days or 14 days??

    • @zarantechdotcom
      @zarantechdotcom  5 месяцев назад

      Great question! In SAP Ariba, you can set the expiration date for supplier qualifications and configure email notifications to alert you when a qualification is about to expire. Typically, you can set notifications to trigger 30 days or 14 days before the expiration, depending on your business needs.

      Thanks for clarifying! Here's a quick overview of the configuration steps to set expiration dates and notifications for supplier qualifications in SAP Ariba:
      Access the Supplier Management Module: Log in to SAP Ariba and navigate to the Supplier Management module.
      Go to Qualification Templates: Under the Supplier Qualification section, locate the qualification templates you want to configure.
      Configure Expiration Date: In the template settings, you can define the expiration period for the qualification. This is typically set in days, months, or years from the approval date.
      Set Up Notifications: Go to the Notifications section within the template. Here, you can configure email alerts by setting the desired notification period (e.g., 30 days or 14 days before expiration).
      Save and Apply the Template: Once you've configured the expiration and notifications, save the template and apply it to relevant suppliers.
      For detailed step-by-step guidance, including screenshots, feel free to join our SAP Ariba training session or contact us directly.

    Why status is not visible as qualified evn my supplier is qualified?

    • @zarantechdotcom
      @zarantechdotcom  4 месяца назад

      If the status is not visible as "qualified" even though your supplier is qualified, there could be a few reasons:
      Data Synchronization: There might be a delay or issue in syncing the supplier qualification data. Ensure that the qualification status is properly updated in the system.
      Supplier Qualification Workflow: Check if the supplier qualification process was fully completed and approved within the system.
      User Permissions: Verify if you have the necessary permissions to view the qualification status. Sometimes, certain roles may not have full visibility into supplier qualifications.

    For Standard Edition their is a limit of creating 200 vendors and for Enterprises edition their is no limit, do correct me if wrong thanks

    • @zarantechdotcom
      @zarantechdotcom  9 месяцев назад

      You're on the right track with your understanding of the vendor limits in SAP Ariba. Typically, the Standard Edition of SAP Ariba has some constraints on the number of suppliers (vendors) that can be managed through the system, which could be around the figure you mentioned, like 200 vendors. However, these details can vary slightly based on specific contractual terms or changes in product offerings over time.
      On the other hand, the Enterprise Edition of SAP Ariba usually offers much greater flexibility and higher limits, catering to larger organizations that have a need to manage a more extensive network of suppliers. This edition might indeed have no hard limits on the number of vendors, which allows for scalability as the organization grows.
      It's always a good practice to check the most recent product documentation or directly consult with SAP Ariba for the most accurate and up-to-date information. This ensures you have the latest details specific to your version and contract.

    Hi, let's imagine some stupid user tries to register a company which is already registered in Ariba. How we can prohibit to register the duplicate to him?

    • @zarantechdotcom
      @zarantechdotcom  5 месяцев назад

      To prohibit a user from registering a company that is already registered in SAP Ariba, you can implement the following steps:
      1. Company Name Check:
      - When a user attempts to register a new company, SAP Ariba can automatically check the existing database for a matching company name. If a match is found, the system can alert the user and prevent the duplicate registration.
      2. Tax ID or VAT Number Validation:
      - Validate the company's tax ID or VAT number during registration. If the system detects that the tax ID or VAT number is already in use, it can block the registration process and notify the user.
      3. Domain-based Email Check:
      - Check the email domain used during registration against existing companies. If the domain matches an already registered company, trigger a notification to review the potential duplicate.
      4. Cross-Reference with DUNS Number:
      - Use the DUNS (Data Universal Numbering System) number to check for existing registrations. If the DUNS number is already registered, prevent the new registration.
      5. Pre-registration Notification:
      - Before completing the registration, display a list of similar companies to the user, asking them to confirm if their company is already listed. This step helps in manually identifying potential duplicates.
      6. Workflow for Duplicate Resolution:
      - If a potential duplicate is detected, route the registration request to an administrator for manual review and resolution. The administrator can then either approve the new registration or confirm the existing record.
      By implementing these checks and workflows, SAP Ariba can effectively prevent the registration of duplicate companies.
