Brilliant video Cyber, the woodhead route is one I've been wanting to do myself for quite some time. That walk down to Ardwick is one I'm also quite tempted to do. :)
Great video as always. So many great options in London as you say. Just a shame about the strikes, but hopefully you can make it again at a better time.
i visited Ardwick back in September as i had some time spare while i was in Manchester i thaught id walk to Ardwick as its an under 20 mn walk from Piccadilly & its a brilliant station to film trains & id def do that station again in the future & i did Ashburys back in 2021 which ia a great station & i visited that station when i was trying out the 323s for the first time in a long time & i used Guide Bridge back in september when i was doing a GM day saver to change from the once a week service from Stockport to the Rose Hill Marple service & Guide bridge is a lovely station brilliant vlog
Network Rail should sort out the overhead wires and to replace them with electrification to Stalybridge and possible electrification on the Hope Valley Line. And with more extra Class 323s to be cascaded from West Midlands Railway.

To this day, I have never travelled on this line, but would like to in the future. Thank you for sharing Simon.
Great video, Simon - lots of information and a lovely day to be out on the railways as well!

I had to walk it as well.... honestly it's not a bad walk, Thanks Michael
I remember when Guide Bridge was a grand station with four platforms and beautful canopies on each platform.
Great video Simon
Thanks 👍
Gotta say this is an interesting little line! Haven't been on a 323 yet though...
It's a nice commuter line being honest.

Nice video Simon; saw you at Stafford a few months ago - hope you're okay 😅
Thank you and I am good thanks for asking
I wouldn't like to have been on that 185 that went through Ardwick, probably more room in a sardine can!
Hi are you going to do Brent Cross West and East Linton as both stations are now opened. 😁
East Linton at some point, yes! But it won't be it's own video, It's part of a 10 part series I have planned.... but not filmed yet.
Great Cyber ❤️
