Wine glass markers with a stopper, I also hit up Home Goods for gift items - especially gourmet foods to add. Go to the dollar store for gift bags, they also have wine bottle bags! (Yes, I don’t like spending a lot of money on things that get tossed) Love the candle idea, I forgot I love getting them too!
I second the Kennebunk throw blanket. I bought several last year based on your previous recommendations, and they were HUGE hits. The color selection is impressive and fun too! Love the flower soaps , going to try a few of those this year. Thanks! Always love this video! 👏🎁
Hi Marnie I must say you do a wonderful job with these gift ideas. I have enjoyed your channel for the last couple of years and I always look forward to your gift recommendations. I hope you have a wonderful day and a blessed holiday season.
Love the wine bottle holder/stopper and the flower soaps! Some wonderful ideas here. Another place with fun and different gifts is The Grommet - well worth checking out, and yes, definitely support local businesses.
Many great ideas for gifts, love them all...and I did buy myself 2 of those so soft throws and love them...think I will gift one and the Trapp candles have become another fav of mine1☺️💕
Also, I just received a candle as a gift that I just love. Circle E Candles -Buttery French Vanilla . This candle company is from Fredericksburg Texas 🤠
My husband started working for a small company a month ago. The boss and his wife are hosting a Christmas party (I believe at their home). Is a hostess gift appropriate for a work situation?
I’ve always enjoyed you, but from this video you’ve jumped from liked to love ❤️. You gift ideas are very different yet not too outside the box. I especially liked the match jar, as whenever I go to light a candle the hunt for the matches is on so I will be buying 4 or 5 with one designated for my bar. Thank you for all your videos
Hi Marnie, those are nice suggestions. You’re right, I have always been a Nest candle snob, but I will try the Trapp to compare. I also like Anthropologie candles too. One gift I have given that people seem to like is the Secura Electric Wine Opener that is rechargeable for $20, for a similar price, I would rather give that than a bottle of wine. I bought mine on Amazon and it has many high-starred reviews. I love my throw from Nordstrom’s too
My all time FAVORITE hostess gift was a Peony and Blush Suede Candle by Jo Malone in the 200G size. Dear LORD that thing has the best throw, and leaves the entrance to my home smelling like you've walked through the gates of heaven! I use it occasionally and put the lid back on to savor the experience as long as I can! *would make a beautiful impressive gift for anyone! However, for those on a budget, a beautiful poinsettia (you can add a festive bow!!) is a lovely appreciated gift for a very small amount of money! Home Depot/Walmart many places carry them! But the rule of thumb is (according to my mother) is to NEVER, ever, ever, enter a home as a guest without SOMETHING in your hands!!! Even a VERY small token gift.
I found a Gold Crown Hallmark store near my new job! They are going by the wayside, two closed in my neighborhood. So I scooped up some keepsake ornaments and two hostess gifts: leaf 🍁 bowls and a lovely serving platter. Great ideas Marni! The “friend” code does not work on the wine stopper. Have you purchased Trap candles from Amazon without issues? Lately, experiencing fake products. Can you link another option to purchase? Many thanks
I only purchase my Trapp candles from Amazon using that exact link and I’ve had no issues at all. Just got another one last week! I guess the sale they were having on the wine stopper is over-I’m sorry!
LOVE your Gift Ideas 🧡 Please do more for Christmas ⭐️? And you look amazing!! Love your 🐆 jacket too! Are you wearing Fenty Gloss only, or also some lipstick/liner?
Marnie! I am so sad that Laura Mercier’s hand lotion set no longer includes creme de pistache. I can’t find it anywhere anymore. Are you a fan of that scent? Please let us know if you find a dupe! Thank you!
This is a very helpful video. Thank you, Marnie! Now I have to hunt down that orange clove candle (not available at the moment?) because that sounds right up my alley!
I love Uncommon Goods! It's great or unique, well made gifts. I had not heard of MudPie before. I took a quick peak and will definitely be spending some time perusing their site. Getting out and shopping local boutiques is great advice!! We all love them, but if we don't support them, they will go away. That would make me cry.
Do you and Michael like to entertain? If so, what are some of your go to party ideas, menus, and what are some wonderful hostess gifts that you have received in the past?
Most of our entertaining the last few years has been limited to teen gatherings...one of the best hostess gifts I received was a box of conversation starters to be used at the dinner table. I need to find that and recommend it-it's a fun way to get the conversation going, even if it's just a normal family dinner.
These are all great recommendations, Marnie!! I a huge cheese person, so I love giving and receiving anything to do with cheese, crackers and jam...the perfect pairing btw 😉. Okay, this is just a funny story that I can’t resist sharing about Godiva. My 7th grade history teacher (shoutout to Mr. Kelso!) also owned a Godiva chocolate shop in Santa Cruz. Well, one of the kids parents in another class was a caricature artist and drew a picture of him as Lady Godiva. What makes the story really funny, beyond the fact that 7th graders will laugh at anything nude related....Mr Kelso sported a beard and was very muscular. 😂. The piece was about 6 foot tall, and of course, the first thing you saw when you walked into the class. The poor man heard it from everyone who walked in there, but it was all in good fun. Sorry....just wanted to share. Haha. Have a great day, and thanks again for the awesome gift guide 😃
Love the suggestions! I love, love, LOVE candles too! I have been getting some great gift 🎁 recs from your channel! Thanks! 🙂 By the way, I’m a TX neighbor. In College Station. 😉
Marnie - some really nice ideas here. I especially liked the wine stopper/valet stand. That really seems elevated and unique. I wanted to thank you for encouraging viewers to also consider local, independent shops for gifts! You are right - we are trying very hard to offer great gifts as well as exemplary service to our clients. One thing I might offer as a "perk" to shopping independent boutiques is that often a shop owner will offer free gift wrap and that can be a nice service that saves customers time as well as money. Hope your holidays are off to a wonderful start! Thanks for all you do and share - Jessica kitlife.net
Great roundup of gifts! Thank you!

Sand and Fog candles are budget friendly and smell amazing. You can find them at Marshall’s, T.J. Maxx, etc.
Thymes candles are great as well.
The matches are a wonderful idea. Very few places give out matches anymore.

Thanks for the suggestions. I found the soaps and they are so cute!
Thank you for the great suggestions . Your skin is so pretty and young looking . Noticed it Clinique Glow . Such a great foundation .

Bath & Bodyworks candles are also a great option, @ an even lower price point when on sale!!
Great ideas! I also love how you encouraged buying local. Thank you for that!
I love these videos every year. This is not such a thing in the UK, usually just flowers, chocs, wine if anything at all!

Marnie, you really elevate that jacket. You look stunning.

And you look amazing!! Love your 🐆 jacket too!
Are you wearing Fenty Gloss only, or also some lipstick/liner?
Fenty Gloss over the lipstick listed in the description box. Can't remember offhand which one it was.
Good stuff! Thanks. 🤗

Great ideas and thoughts - thank you for sharing!! Happiest of Holidays to you and your family!!
Maybe you should do a Target haul? Angie from Hot and Flashy did one to great success - or at least I thought so!
Try Sees Candy! Best chocolate/candy ever. You can order online. Worth every cent.

Macrons are my new go to. Chantal Guillon ships!
💜💜💜
Does anyone else find the Trapp candles a little small for the price? Never ordered them because it seemed puny
Are you doing a teen boy Chanukah gift guide this year? Need ideas for my 14 year old.
Definitely!
