So I got my m4 coded from bimmer link to have the valve flaps always open, and it worked for a couple minutes and then went back to closing again, anyone know why/solution?

It resets after 10 or so minutes, it won’t permanently stay open. The app basically acts as a remote and if you disconnect it resets too
